Russia hacked the DNC's emails, selectively released internal communications that they felt would embarrass the Clinton campaign and in doing so, negatively affected public opinion about her.

Furthermore, by blaming the Democrats for being hacked even though the Republicans were too, but their emails weren't released, your side erroneously assumes that there was nothing equally or more embarrassing in the RNC's emails. But that is something we will never know because Putin and Assange did not release the Republicans' private communications.

Finally, the Democrats broke no laws or committed any ethical violations in the way they dealt with Sanders. But putting those comments about him, comments they had every right to make, pissed off the voters who supported Sanders and caused a significant number of them to vote for someone else.
