Must protect Obama at all costs. It was people like you and Darla that were screaming about withdrawing the troops at any price that led to that situation. As you are perfectly aware I was vehemently against the 2003 war but once there you don't just pull out for reasons of political expediency. So spare me your bullshit and bluster.

Thank you, but what did they do about ISIS? Your people, just like ours didn't want to become involved in Syria, it's why we initally didn't stop ISIS in Syria, and I am still glad we left Iraq, Britain even left before the US did. The Iraqis did not want us there and negotiated the withdraw with Bush, Obama honored the agreement.

Britain has mirrored our every move.

truth be told it's not even a "US led coalition". The players in the region act on their own.
Ye we do provide some trainers to the Iraqi's and Kurds -but Iran is really the leader in going after ISIS.

we tend to overlook Baghdad has become a colony of Iran-it's a shi'a led government, with majority Shi'a army..

I don't blame Obama so much for getting out of Iraq -while he obviously did not want to stay -
staying there would have brought a new set of problems.

But he completely screwed up when he dismissed ISIS as "JV" and did not touch them until after they seized the Iraqi armor the regular's abandoned when first coming up against them

Yes, he was terrible, the British and American people were realizing the grave mistake of ever going to
war, and that Bush and Blair were to blame. They realized that there was no exit strategy and they wanted out, the Iraq people wanted us out.

The British and American people were war weary and did not want to get involved in Syria. I see it as our leaders listening to the concerns of the people. So, maybe the rise of ISIS is our fault as well.
 
ISIS came from AQI. AQI grew as Saddam was removed. Iraq is a complete cluster.

I t was managed poorly to begin with with the excess purging of Sunni officers,
and went to hell as bad decision after bad decision followed..

so much for nationbuilding/regime change - same as afghanistan.. Libya was just regime change
