What you don't understand is that Trump making a speech to mobilize volunteers won't help matters because they can't drive to PR like they typically do to a mainland crisis.

Those are the only kind of volunteers needed? Drivers? They don't need people to donate clothes, food, water and other goods, and other people to organize those efforts? They don't need people working the phone lines and internet for fundraising?

What you're arguing is basically that the President should keep quiet about it - that his raising awareness of the crisis and making it a national priority is completely inconsequential. You're arguing that no volunteers are really needed for this effort, and that they don't really need an increase in donations.

That's what Trump has reduced you to. Making those kinds of arguments.
 
We need to set the blame for Puerto Rico firmly where it belongs......election day and the voters of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin........

This is why people need to always have at LEAST 1 week (preferably 2 weeks) of cheap BASIC supplies for survival on hand for the aftermath.

Unless you can show credible evidence that donations have been negatively impacted by what you imagine to be Trump's refusal to use the "bully pulpit" in accordance with your expectations, you're bloviating.

my company has done a lot of the phone donation.Red Cross has their own,and there is also web and text donations. that is covered.

Drivers are what is needed..the port is stufffed full of relief

It's been nine days! There is no excuse, even HLS isn't saying they are doing a good job, anymore, Duke toured the island and saw first hand just how far behind relief effort is.
