So if you saw Rumps love fest news conference yesterday with McConnell, you saw his 6th grade excuse for not yet contacting the families of the fallen... letters will be mailed out today (two weeks and three golf games later) and Obama didn’t call families. (LIE)!

What a patriot!

why would he purposely lie. He got told something different or he heard something different.
it's bad in that it's disrespective of the fallen and Obama's calls, but he cleaned it up.

Of course he lied. He was caught red handed doing nothing about those dead soldiers and had to make something up on the spot to cover himself. You know so well that he lies regularly and continuously.

You could say the bolded about so many of his lies.

I'm not sure why you jump through hoops to make excuses for him. You realize by now that this is just what Trump does. He didn't "get told something different." He makes stuff up, on the spot. It's what he does.
 
I remember Republican posters drudging and parading photos of dead Americans during the fake Benghazi scandal. They appear to have lost their appetite now that Trump is caught up in a real scandal involving dead soldiers, the details of which we are still in the dark about.

He is so used to making shit up, he just says whatever sounds good to him regardless of truth. Anybody who paid attention knew that Obama called and met with Goldstar families. Heck I knew it.

He's a master. Lying is just an art form for him - he has honed his craft and is now one of the best.

Yeah, I guess it does bother me a bit when our President is not only a pathological liar, but actually struggles mightily to be truthful about ANYTHING. Nothing but lies, and yet to you, that isn't "relevant."
