Government officials, members of Congress from both parties and even some Trump supporters had hoped that, with the campaign behind him, Mr. Trump would finally speak declaratively about the email hacking and recognize the threat Russian cyberattacks present, without asterisks, wisecracks, caveats or obfuscation.

That hope has dissipated. The latest presidential tweets were proof to dismayed members of Mr. Trump’s party that he still refuses to acknowledge a basic fact agreed upon by four American intelligence agencies: Russia orchestrated the attacks, and did it to help get him elected.

What a farce this has turned out to be.

They rounded up 13 Russian trolls and indicted them for doing who knows what, exactly, to the election. Meanwhile, they can’t keep track of lone wolf shooters that do everything—but hire Russian trolls, to advertise the fact they’re going to go on a killing spree.

It’s beyond ludicrous.

Trump and much of the right wing initially suggested the Russian weren't doing anything.
They claimed the Mueller investigation was a nothingburger. There have already been more indictment and plea bargains than in two decades of investigating Bill and Hillary Clinton.

I find it alarming that the Kremlin interfered in an American presidential election, but Trump's fan boys spent the last 18 months denying it..... and when theu begrudgingly were forced to admit it, who no genuine concern about a foreign power attempting to influence on of our election.

Why the lack of concern? Still have not heard a credible answer to that.

I would assume he was privy to something he wasn't earlier, or had staff meetings that showed hm such.

But the bottom line is he agreed their was Russian interference ( NOT collusion).

I'd like to think it was just the 7th floor of the Hoover Building ( corrupt leadership).

But you do have to wonder if sloppy leadership leads to sloppy field work..

Hilarious or not, 6 months into his presidency Trump was still not "on board with 'da Russian' interference" as you claimed. Instead he was doing everything he could to minimize, misdirect or misrepresent it.
