The battle over Trump, which side is winning?

A link to the platform lol?

Why should I, a political junkie, be forced to scour the internets to dig up the democrats platform? I shouldn’t have to go looking for it. I should be hearing it from democrats, but it’s always Muh Russia or hyperventilating over something Trump said.

All the time.

When I said I provided the link you didn't understand that did you. You asked why should I have to scour the internet and it should be provided for you. I provided it for you all you have to do is click on the link. You are one of the worst dumbasses on these forums. Stop embarrassing yourself and grow up.

It's funny that the perception is that all Dems have is "not Trump." That's a lazy assessment, that would come from someone who hasn't paid attention to any of the elections that have gone on so far.

Dems have a rich trove of issues upon with to make their case, courtesy of Trump - a FAIR tax structure, that benefits all Americans; a real plan for jobs & the economy; restoring vital protections for the environment, which Trump has dismantled; coherent & thoughtful education policy; HEALTHCARE. I mean, the list goes on & on.

My guess is gun control will be one but a lot of those candidates in red districts are going to have to walk a fine line in the south and fly over country. The thing that the DNC misses is that a lot of people who already have voted for Trump didn't particularly like him as a person to begin with so continuing to paint him the way they already see him isn't going to break a lot of new ground for them. It is the old, "I support him as President, not as my Pastor"

Nope, another GOP pipe dream.

Gore proved their is no faster road to loss for a Dem than gun control.

His story is one of truly willful ignorance.

The GOP is winning, or at least are on the winning track for November. The DNC has no real message or platform. All its eggs are in hoping against hope Mueller can take down Trump.

That's not true, they are running on a platform of raising taxes, and "common sense" Second Amendment infringements.

That's my feeling as well. Katzger seems to think that the (D)s have a plan. I sure hope that he's right.

No no no don't put words in my mouth. I never said they had a plan I said they have a platform. They do one every four years like clockwork any political junkie would know this. It is the nature of both are political parties that aspects of that platform will work in some areas and won't work another areas it's how big tent political parties work.

I believe they do as well, but we need a leader. Someone not as old as prior candidates (like Biden and Clinton).

hrc is my not president. I'm winning! :mun:
I can't believe how fortunate I am.

Yep, and even though loony leftists will never admit it, they are winning too, for the very same reason. Though I suspect a lot of them know it, in their heart of hearts. ;)

I always hear Biden & Clinton from the right, and "Who do Dems have?" I think it's a real statement that they're not paying attention. There are about a dozen+ very sharp, very charismatic candidates out there, in Congress, the Senate & governorships. The leaders of tomorrow for the Dems.

I can't think of an election in the last 20 years where we knew who the eventual winning candidate was going to be for either Democrats or Republicans. Bush wasn't talked about seriously in '98; Obama came out of nowhere. People knew Trump, but as a Presidential candidate? He was also a huge surprise.
