"Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson has withdrawn as President Donald Trump's nominee to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs, he said in a statement Thursday morning.
His nomination was hampered by a flurry of allegations about Jackson's professional conduct.
In a statement announcing his withdrawal, Jackson slammed allegations of improper behavior leveled against him as "completely false and fabricated.""

I really hate nominees being knocked out by Swampish innuendo/ and leaks.
The guy denied everything ( they did pass out Ambien on planes -but it was on long trips and for legit use)
but didn't want to sidetrack Trump' agenda.

What a fucked up bunch of leaking liars we have in DC- the swamp always wins

No you don't know who won, or what the story is because it's leaks and no hearings.
I'm not surprised you approve of this "process" however.

who knows. Obama gave him glowing reviews and said he should have been promoted.
Getting a VA director who will reform that mess is difficult -we should have had hearings and not leaked him

Other nominees for various positions have had allegations against them as well; notice how *they* managed to make it through the confirmation process despite that?

Either the doc was bad news and withdrew, or what he said about not turning the hearings into a month long distraction is true. or some or neither of both.

call me crazy but leaking a nominee into submission doesn't serve anyone but Trump haters.
It should be bought up in hearings instead.

Reporting that a 2012 investigation was done into his work environment by the govt. is hardly a "leak." But go ahead and keep making excuses for the failed CEO and now failed POTUS. We're used to nothing less.

Hahaha, you're asking JPP's Most Pitiful Victim to consider personal responsibility? That's hilarious.

You're right; he got good reviews during his tenure in the Obama administration. Well, other than that pesky 2012 report that detailed conflicts in his office between him and an officer of equal rank, and the "toxic work environment." Looks like a lot of his misdeeds (drinking, wrecking a govt. vehicle) were overlooked at the time.
