UN Security Council rejects US draft resolution on Gaza

UN Security Council resoundingly rejects US-drafted resolution criticising Hamas over recent Gaza violence.

The United States has voted against a Kuwait-drafted United Nations Security Council resolution calling for the protection of Palestinian civilians, while it was the only country to back its own drafted measure condemning Hamas for the recent violence in the Gaza Strip.

More than 120 Palestinians have been killed and thousands wounded by Israeli forces during weeks-long peaceful protests in the besieged Gaza Strip near the fence with Israel. Among the victims have been medics and journalists.

Ten countries, including Russia and France, voted in favour of the Kuwait-sponsored resolution on Friday.

The U.S. was humiliated because the U.S. was WRONG

The UN isn't ' anti-Israel' - the UN is anti- Occupation, anti-theft, anti-murder , anti- extra-judicial execution, anti-blockade, anti-starvation, anti-deprivation and of course, anti-war.

Bumbling apologies for neoZionist fascism have no weight.
Brazen attempts at justifications for the above have no weight.

The US stands alone- up to its neck in hypocrisy and ' Israeli' shit. For the sake of a united planet - stand up, wash off and get lawful.

MY Mother used to tell me that during the War, you had to get up early to hear what had actually happened, before the government propagandists got to work on it. Similarly, BBC Four six a.m news told us what had happened - US got no votes at all, rejected by everyone, had to use veto - whereas by eight we just had just an American propagandist prating. What I wonder is whether it was US or Zionist censors who got the truth shut down. I used to write to complain about bias, but the BBC is so afraid of the Tories cutting off the money that they just let 'em run it now!

I dont know why support for israel is confusing to you people. Say you had a person living his life giving charity occasionally and generally being a productive citizen. You then have a savage rush him with a knife. You have one rock to throw. Do you hit the savage saving the person or help the savage knife him?

It is just right to help Israel :)
