Definitely it often takes two parents working to achieve the kind of economic level the average family enjoyed 40 years or more ago.
 
I think it is the 1%ers. They pit the Workers against each other. Seems to be a winning strategy.

I was talking to a young woman in line at a store the other day


she got a bonus recently and found out the bonus was taxed at 45% rate


it was bonus day at her store


the entire store of employees were pissed off and raging all day because their bonus checks got raped



this is going to destroy lots of businesses ability to keep employees loyal

who will be inspired at the idea of a bonus now
 
globalization improved the global top (aka 1%) and the global bottom (the people in India who now have call center jobs or Chinese peasants who moved from farm to factory for example). It screwed the global middle (where most americans are).
