WRONG. That is the inability of the Federal government to define what 'income' actually means!
Well, I think all income should be progressively taxed at the same rate regardless of its source.
WRONG. That is the inability of the Federal government to define what 'income' actually means!
But I don't. True, I can vote in people to help lower income taxes, but non-elected bureaucrats impose increases in duties, fees, and taxes all the time, often on little more than a whim. Don't forget, many regulations passed by this same bunch are also effectively a tax.
It's not about the tax cuts. It's about the spending.

why do you support running $1T+ budget deficits?
Federal deficit soars 32 percent to $895B
They said the Russia Tax Cuts would pay for themselves.
Tax cuts never pay for themselves.
Never.
Ever.
After the establishment of the Federal Reserve, there were 4 major economic crashes. All four were the fault of Conservative laissez-faire economics:
The Great Depression
Black Monday
The Dotcom Bubble
The Subprime Bubble
That's it.
Nothing to do with the Fed. Everything to do with Laissez-faire capitalism and tax cuts.
1. You didn't know those benefits had been cut.
2. It was in response to your bad faith argument about SNAP spending increasing.
So I totally acknowledged that the SNAP budget is higher than before, and my response to that was to point out that while the program is larger, individual benefits are less. You didn't realize that was the case. You dumbly thought that because SNAP grew, that meant that the amount beneficiaries got from SNAP also grew. That was the argument you were starting to make. But then when it was pointed out to you that individual benefits have declined, you started this bizarre defense that I didn't acknowledge the SNAP budget was larger, even though that's what prompted me to link to the proof showing benefits had been cut.
So you fucking lied by telling a half-truth, then you lied again about my response to your half-truth.
Anyone can look at this thread and see for themselves what a fucking fraud you are.
I didn't refuse to acknowledge it. I answered it directly by pointing out that benefits have been cut.
That's what this whole fucking discussion is about; how you acted in bad faith by presenting only half the story in order to push a false narrative.
What a fraud.
Time to delete that account and create a new one.
I only stated total spending had increased 330% since 2000.
Since I did not know about individual benefits had been cut until I read you article I made no argument that benefits grew--my argument was that as an entitlement total SNAP spending grew because the number of people collecting benefits grew because of the recession. As millions of new jobs were created and we recovered from the recession total spending decreased somewhat from $75 billion to $68 billion but still much higher than the $17 billion in 2000 or even the $37 billion in 2008.
I said you did not acknowledge total spending had increased because you said I ignored individual benefits being cut. We both stated facts. You are the only one claiming I tried to "hide" something although you did the same thing.
You oppose deficits that declined throughout Obama, but don't care about deficits that grow during Trump.
So that's what makes you a hypocrite.
Again, you make up straw arguments the other person did not make but based on your stereotyped knee jerk reaction of your perception of what the other person thinks, not what they actually said. You attempt to turn factual issues into partisan arguments.
I see you still have done nothing about your anger issues.
Totally untrue. You make stuff up based on your imaginary view of what others are thinking. What statement did I make that suggests I don't care about deficits under Trump? You cannot show that post(s) because it does not exist. I oppose increased spending, deficits, and debt under every president. I opposed the Trump tax cuts without an equal cut in spending.
The Democrats were the ones who raised it in 2007. Then they tried to raise it again in 2011, but Conservatives obstructed.
So you're lying. Why?
It was passed under George Bush.
The balanced budget occurred under a Republican Congress but under President Clinto
The federal debt grew from $10 trillion to $20 trillion under Obama. When are you going to pull your lips of his ass and consider that a problem?
LOL!
You're still not getting it.
The tax cut is the problem here because the tax cut is what exploded the deficit by 32%. So you keep talking vaguely about "cutting spending", but you don't really have an idea of what that entails, nor do you have any plan to replace that spending with anything in the economy. When you cut government spending, you cut demand in the economy. If you don't replace that demand with any, you end up contracting the economy because there's less spending.
You clowns seem to think that for every dollar in government spending that is cut, there's an equal and opposite increase in spending from the private sector. And that's just fucking stupid. So you want to cut spending, but you don't really know what you want to cut, and then to top it all off, you're not replacing government spending with any other spending, thus you're contracting the economy.
What a fucking idiot.
