So coastal folks have always had a soft spot for middle America? Those who cling to their guns and religion? Yeah, I don't think so
 
Donald is not happy with just turning people against Hollywood and the entertainment industry!

No sir, he has to now turn people against the Sporting World as well- first with the NFL, and the NBA looks like it is next- and now it's the Tennis world.

This is all about him, and no one better enjoy anything but him or he will find out what it is and go after it and try to destroy it!

I've did poppy seed tea for a while, that shit is weird and nuts. Problem is that there are so many different alkaloids mixed in. Some of them are quite a bit more toxic than the codeine and morphine that's usually extracted, causing stimulant effects. It also stays in your system for like *days* because the liver is constantly processing alkaloids into different alkaloids which have different effects, it doesn't have a normal rise and fall of effect like a regular medication.

Republicans love to draw lines- lines in the sand- precinct district lines- White lines- Black Lines- Here a line- there a line- everywhere a line line! LOL!

Not a big deal. JD Vance wrote it about growing up poor in Appalachia (ultimately he went to Yale Law School and became a venture capitalist and may run for office in Ohio).

The book was a best seller in 2016 and he was on all the talk shows sort of speaking for white working class/poor of the area during the time of the election. Excellent book, highly recommend it

If you want better monitering ( and I doubt you understand any existing oversight on prescribing) that is a different issue.

The DEA doesn't give a fuck about suffering.
Their approach is cut back on the numbers, without any regards to those effected.

Both acute pain and chronic pain are legitimate faces of medicine -
simply cutting back use by patients does nothing to reduce addiction, it just increases suffering

so what is the answer?
better SCREENING by physicians of their patients,and doctors are aware of this and already do so

There is a whole "addiction" industry growing out there. it goes " you need help and you can't do it on your own"

So you spend a fortune and go to therapy, or rehab, and this new corparatist industry tells you relax we'll take care of it for yous
If you need help go to NA. Learn to take control of your life,learn why you succumbed to addiction to begin with
and learn how not to relapse. and it doesn't cost you anything, except contributing fr the coffee and doughnuts
Take personal inventory and work the Steps. it's free. and when you take control of your life it sticks

same thing. the benefit of smoking opium is you can dose slowly and it hits you quicker
so there is less chance of OD. but there isn't any difference in the way the body processes the drug (pharmacology)
