Dimwit Donny begins process of War with Iran.

Rhetorical hyperbole!

The US (Trump & Co.) are deliberately engaged in an Economic War with Iran to crush it's economy.
Israel and the Saudi Royal Family have a beef with the Persian Shias, ... the US doesn't.

Dukkha, in your Buddhist Lifestyle, how many American Soldiers and how many American Dollars are you willing to spend to kill the Enemies of His Royal Highness*Mohammad bin Salman and Benjamin Netanyahu?
i just gave you a reason, Iran is a bad actor, it's testing ICBM , is the largest state sponcer of terrorism
and has Qods all over the Shi'a Crescent

so I got no problem with sanctions -they are a lot more real causes then the crap we put on Russia for"meddling"

do you mean how much should we defend the US/KSA "special relationship"" - quite a bit.
As much as I hate the war in Yemen,I understand why we supply logistics

From the overthrow of democratic government and the establishment of the Shah's smelly dictatorship on through the paid-for invasion by Iraq, the USA has constantly interfered in Iran's affairs. I think that if Trumpf tries to add it to his Reich he may be in for a nasty shock.

Did America interfere in Iran’s affairs when they took American hostages, Nazi?

What about the French who gave asylum to that cunt Khomeini?

How many more American kids do you want to send into the Meat Grinder? Didn't you learn anything in Viet Nam?

"Monday, officials said that the decision to deploy the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier was not preparation for a planned military strike against Tehran, but a response to intelligence indicating that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), part of Iran’s military, might be planning to stage new attacks against the 5,200 U.S. troops in Iraq. For years, Iran and its proxies have helped train Shiite Arab militias which have repeatedly targeted and attacked American soldiers.
Iran, and the IRGC in particular, have intensified their search for ways to strike back at the United States ever since the administration designated the Guards as a terrorist organization. Washington’s action last month infuriated Tehran, as the designation has imposed stiff economic penalties against the group, making it more difficult for its members to buy arms and supplies and to travel.
The designation was controversial, even within the U.S., as Washington had never before applied the terrorist designation to part of another nation’s government. But the IRGC is not just any national military organization. The Pentagon, in another unusual announcement, has said that Iran-backed fighters are responsible for having killed at least 603 American soldiers and other personnel in Iraq, about 17 percent of Americans killed in hostile action there."

If any country attacks the US Military then we should turn that country into a glass bowl. So yes if we need to protect our troops and interest then we hit those responsible! You bring up Vietnam, that was a manufactured war and was fought by politicians not the generals. So there is no correlation between the two.
