Yep. 20 years or so ago I worked in an office that did publishing and bar code stuff. In the same week, my muffler fell off my old beater, and so did my friend and coworker's a couple days later. We both got stopped on our way home. I was just told to fix it as soon as I could. She got a ticket. The next day she got *another* ticket on her way to the office. The area where we worked was a mostly-white suburban one. I am white. She was black. She wasn't stopped in her area, which was predominantly populated by other black ppl. It wasn't till she crossed the river to the "white side" that she was pulled over. She ended up getting three tickets for the same offense. I didn't even get a written warning.

Missouri used to be a moderate state, but in recent years has been corrupted.

That's an awful but unsurprising story. There are lots of similar ones here where black drivers get pulled over in disproportionate numbers. The cops always have an excuse to cover their racism.

I got pulled over by black state trooper on my motorcycle...i asked why and he said there was reports of a motorcycle raising hell speeding etc in the area....i was breaking no law to be pulled over in the first place
he asked for my Dl where i was going and asked to look in my saddlebags
than i heard on his radio another call came in on a bike raising hell, the description was a crotch rocket i was on a Harley
the racist POS had no cause to pull me over

I don't want to go so far as to claim that *all* white cops are racist; they're not. But institutional racism within police depts. is definitely a thing in some areas, particularly in urban and suburban Missouri.
Before I married the late Mr. Owl I, we lived in an apartment complex. Across the hall was a young couple with a baby. She was white; he was black. She told me that when they were driving somewhere they were often pulled over, and the officer made sure to come around to her side and ask her if she was okay. Like she was being kidnapped or something because the driver was a black guy. My son went to a h.s. basketball game with him one evening; same deal. They got pulled over and the officer asked my son if he was okay.
Right. He pulled you over because 1) there were motorcyclists causing issues in the area, and 2) you were on one. But he's racist because he was black and you are not.
