I thought the thread was about a heroic act? Why is she complaining about racism.... when she abandoned the whole "purpose" of her thread...right from the start?
 
My POV on this thread. Evince posted it, I think, in response to some thread that Volsrock -- a beloved-by-the-RW-and-oft-thanked-by-the-racist-posters guy -- thread this morning regarding an Alabama school district who banded together to buy a [black guy] school janitor a new car. This was, of course, evidence that southerners aren't racist.

That being said, sometimes Evince's passion for justice and righteousness is her undoing. How I would have started the thread: Same title. Posted a snippet from the MSN story, plus the link to it. Wait a while... half an hour or something. Then posted something like "Anyone want to see this story? It's pretty epic! A dog attacked a child and a teen stepped in to save the day!"

Evince, I love your spirit and passion.... but we don't need to scream RACISM to win the day. I will slightly side with Toxic Top on this one, but only because you did accuse non-responders-to-your-thread of being racist. Other than that, Toxic is as racist as they come so it's best to ignore the bint.

Not in this thread. As I mentioned earlier, I commented on the article when I read it in yahoo, before I saw deshtard's race hustling tripe. Here's the thing, christiefan. I'm a conservative. And that means no matter what I say about this incident, no matter how much I would praise a young man who ran towards danger to help someone else... Idiots like desh will continue to falsely accuse me of being a racist. She/he/it uses false accusations of racism to attack people on the other side, with no evidence.
