The lefties and their constant mangling of terms. The word ‘secularist’ is even non-sensical because the word secular was intended to apply to *institutions* and not people. The vast majority of our institutions are secular and the ones that aren’t are called ‘religious’ institutions. Our government, obviously, is secular—always has been and always will be, and only people on the farthest of fringes want to change it.

Since the word ‘nation’ has to do with a people who share a common government, boundaries, culture etc—what does ‘secular nation’ even mean? ‘Christian nation’ at least makes some sense insofar as it conveys the notion of Christian majority.

We certainly aren’t a ‘Muslim nation’ and we’re light years away from being an atheistic nation.

Fascism is the crisis form of capitalism, which uses any old crap ideology which goes down with the local mugs to destroy trade unions and other working-class activity and to weaken democracy with its half-baked lies. Consensus does not equal correctness, but of course, you already know that, since you're anti-democracy. Our laws and institutions are not Christian. So even if the majority of individuals in this nation identify as "Christian" makes absolutely no difference and does not prove your assertion.

Calling this a Christian nation doesn't make sense, at all, since our laws and institutions define what the nation is; the people within it, in accordance with our secular bedrock, are free to identify as whatever religion they want, which completely runs counter to your religious commandments, meaning the nation as a whole is NOT Christian.

We're a secular nation. Our laws, institutions, and system of governance says so. Moreover, I cannot tell you how many times you Christians throw out purity tests; catholics aren't really Christian, nor are Baptists, etc.

Tell me, what Christian would choose to separate families from their children? Which commandment or teaching says this is ok?

I mean, I guess you could appeal to them more genocidal teachings in your grotesque book; we can ask the Amalekites, but I guess not since your lord genocided them into extinction. Or maybe we can ask some of the conquered tribes, at least the virgins were left alive for... purposes undescribed.

Well first of all it are History not stories, and no, I am not forced to believe, I choose to believe! You explain how this mud ball came into being, with all of the different species, perfectly situated to sustain that life, bet ya can't without realizing it was a creator. Again the Big Bang, and evolution will fail, so try something new.

At this point, no one knows how 'Life' began. I'm open to ALL theories.
YOU, on the other hand, have decided to believe some Goat Herders from thousands of years ago.

The new 'High Priests' (Scientists) have come up with the 'Big Bang' theory. They have the luxury of changing their minds when the facts present themselves.
As far as 'Evolution', I think that is universally accepted.

You changed the subject.

We separate children from their legal-citizen parents *daily* in this country. If you are under the delusion the Bible says an exception should be made for adults who are, on occasion, the actual parents of the children they’re dragging along with them to our southern border—I’m all ears.
