Fascism is the final stage of capitalism

Hello reagansghost,

The new poll tested Trump against five potential general election challengers, and in four of those cases, the president trails, significantly or modestly. He does worst against former vice president Joe Biden, but also runs well behind Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), and slightly behind Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Sen. Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.). Against South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Trump is numerically behind but the gap is within the range of sampling error.
Among all adults, whether registered to vote or not, the president never tops 41 percent support. Among registered voters, he does better, but his highest level of support against any candidate is 44 percent. In 2016, he won 46 percent of the popular vote to Hillary Clinton’s 48 percent, but nonetheless won an electoral college majority by narrowly winning three northern states that had gone to the Democrats in the previous six elections.

"The shifts coincide with a drop in the president’s approval rating. Currently, 38 percent of Americans say they approve of the job he is doing while 56 percent disapprove. His approval has declined by six points since July."

Ouch!

And yaay.

Hello Gonzomin,

The natural progression of capitalism is to oligarchy and then monopoly. This has been known from the beginning of the country. The founders chartered corporations with the standard that if they did things against the public interests the charter would be revoked. They did revoke them.
Corporations and the wealthy were not going to tolerate that. They have enormous power and changed it. Then Santa Clara v Southern Pacific was twisted into creating corporate personhood and we have suffered since that 1886 case.
The Roberts court is the most pro-corporate of all time. They gave us Citizens United cementing the power of money and corporate power over people.
If the country sways back and forth between wealthy and the people, it is time for the people to get some power back.

RIGHT ON WELL SAID

Summa dem union busters need to get busted down to size.

financially speaking, of course.

Social democracy is comfortable friendly capitalism

Neoliberal austerity is capitalism in crisis, "rational" cruelty that always hits the poor and never the rich

Fascism is the final descent of capitalism, emergency capitalism, where the elites throw off all pretenses and go full authoritarian in hopes of keeping their stolen gains

I was going to reply to your moronic thread, however, it seems much if what I would say has already been said.

Good night moron.

Nazism (or National Socialism; German: Nationalsozialismus) is a set of political beliefs associated with the Nazi Party of Germany. It started in the 1920s. Party gained power in 1933, starting the Third Reich. They lasted in Germany until 1945, at the end of World War II. Many scholars think Nazism was a form of far-right politics.[1] Nazism is a form of fascism and uses biological racism and antisemitism. Much of the philosophy of this movement was based on an idea that the 'Aryan race', the term they used for what we today call Germanic people, was better than all other races, and had the greatest ability to survive. According to the racist and ableist ideas of Nazism, the Germanic peoples were the Herrenvolk (master race).[2] The 'inferior' races and people - the Jews, Roma people, Slavs, disabled and others - were classified as Untermenschen (sub-humans).[3]

1. Racism and anti semitism are not part of fascism. Just ask the Marxist Mussolini, the father of fascism.

2. The victors write the history. Because FDR was pro socialism, too, he had to change the name of the German gov't.

Calling the Nazis socialist because they used a fake label is like believing Trumpf is a Christian - ludicrous if not totally and consciously dishonest.

none of that makes a lick of sense, the ramblings of a confused mind

Mussolini was a socialist of sorts until he was bought by the French at the beginning of the First War. Any German party that officially supported capitalism in the 'thirties would have been wiped out. Both Hitler and Mussolini believed in unrestrained capitalism, plus lies. That's why Churchill, who disciplined the system while battle continued, beat them, tory sod as he was.

nonsense

The first fascist regime was established by Benito Mussolini in Italy in 1925. The word fascism comes from "fasci ," an Italian term for "bundle of sticks" that was a symbol for strength in unity. Fascists believe in one-party, totalitarian control of a nation and its economy.
