lol...i was addicted for 20 years..I got off all by myself with the help of Narcotics Anonymous ( 12 step) and Buddhism.

No, but it wouldn't be the first time contrived or exaggerated claims against big Pharma by left-wing lunatics has been made. People have a right to pain relief, just because some people may abuse drugs, doesn't negate that right. Why is it liberals always want to punish law-abiding citizens for the transgressions of others?

everybody is a victim in our society. I never blamed anyone but myself, even though drugs were rampant back in the days. Life is about choices, good and bad

I had a blast. I was smart and used a Physicians Desk Reference to get dosing and contra indications info

when I got a habit I went cold turkey for a couple days,and that was that.

I wouldn't change a thing except for spending money -the ride was a gas -no regrets

I hold the Doc less responsible as the reps were lying to them, but they are certainly highly intelligent & I am sure some where hip to the deal.. The patients, some rational, some where naive & others prob not so much.

But the ppl running the company knew & not only continued it, but promoted & lied..

Unfortunately ppl w/ valid conditions & issues will perhaps be hassled more & made to jump through more hoops to get their meds but they should blame those same ppl for that, not ppl wanting them held accountable.......
