Open Carry: why do gun nuts need to pack fire arms everywhere they go??

Open carry is very important: when you are going to shoot up a school and murder all the children, it allows the police to see what you are at and hide!

I'm not in the least ashamed. There is nothing wrong with taking a CCW class, qualifying, and receiving a license to carry a concealed firearm. My late husband was one of the first ppl in our rural county to do so once Missouri legalized CCW. He wanted it because he had a severe heart condition and worried that he might be seen as a victim, even though we lived in a pretty crime-free area exc. for the meth-heads and cookers. Having the CCW meant that you could keep your firearm in your vehicle, although at that time it was supposed to be unloaded. After he passed and I finally was able to drive his truck again, I found his Taurus .357 revolver.... loaded.... in the driver door pocket. I'm glad he never had reason to use it other than to pop tin cans.

This thread is about open carry, and that is what my comment was addressing. People who truly have a reason to be concerned about being a crime victim -- like we women -- don't need to flaunt that we are armed.

The post I replied to had nothing to do with testing or licenses.

People who don't walk in fear have no need to carry weapons around wherever they go.

That is what I was replying to. I have a cc license though I rarely carry any longer except on trips. I'm not afraid I just realize there are bad people out there and the older you get the more of a target you become.

Go back and answer my question then. Because Dumber is lying and not worth my time for now.

Find the lie, cunt.

I’m just sitting back watching you make a complete fucking fool of yourself.

“Where in the Constitution”? Are you fucking kidding? :rofl2:

No dumb ass all eventualities. Let me guess when you walk or drive down the street you pay no attention to what is going on around you. Yep it's idiots like you that get killed every day be it a shooting car accident or other mishap.

I pay complete attention, asshole.

A shooting car accident? You’re fucking kidding, right?

Where the fuck do you live, paranoiac? :rofl2:

I don't hear of a lot of people getting robbed at the mall or Walmart, food shopping, car shopping, or at non-redneck bars

and you damn sure don't hear any stories of 'good guys with guns' stopping mass shooters - there have been 283 mass shootings in 2019 already [mass shootings are incidents in which at least four people were shot excluding the shooter]. Is this some kind of a "look at my giant penis" thing, something a wannabe alpha male would do to make his bones? Or, is it simply a lack of confidence in general, afraid they can't take care of themselves in public with a crutch hanging on their belts?

never understood this phenomenon and why only in America people demand to be armed at all times...…...doesn't really matter who you are, lock and load

Open carry is less than ideal. Concealed carry is the way to go.

Not sure what planet you live on, but here on Earth people are accosted by felonious mopes every day. Why wouldn't we carry?

There have been 47,220 gun incidents in the U.S. in 2018

Now scrotum breath car accidents.

Average number of car accidents in the .U.S. every year is 6 million. More than 90 people die in car accidents everyday. 3 million people in the U.S. are injured every year in car accidents. Around 2 million drivers in car accidents experience permanent injuries every year.

So just keep on laughing and believing it will never happen to you. Stupid mother fucker.

Spare me your laughably absurd car/gun analogy. I’ve debunked that lame bullshit more times than I can count.,

You didn’t say car accidents, idiot. You said shooting car accidents. A little problem with English, Nancy?

NASCAR shocks gun industry as it appears to block some firearm ads

Washington (CNN)NASCAR rejected advertisements for its souvenir programs from multiple firearms companies earlier this summer as part of what is being seen as a "gradual shift" in its position on guns.

The move may be another example of how major companies are adjusting as the nation grapples with guns in America.

While the move did not get widespread notice, NASCAR'S apparent shift stunned gun enthusiasts who said there is a large overlap between NASCAR fans and gun owners, and left some in the firearms industry questioning why NASCAR's viewpoint has shifted and where the racing organization now stands on Second Amendment issues.

"They've got the drivers shooting off blanks in the winner's circle. It doesn't make any sense," David Dolbee, the general manager for K-Var Corp., a large distributor of firearms, which submitted an advertisement that was rejected featuring an AK-47 and various accessories.

After a third-party advertising vendor solicited ads for an official NASCAR program earlier this year, the vendor followed up with gun companies in August to inform them NASCAR had rejected advertisements that depicted "assault-style rifles/sniper rifles."

The advertising vendor, National Event Publications, sent an email to some gun companies saying, "We just heard from NASCAR on a number of gun related ads and unfortunately, due to a gradual shift in NASCAR's position on guns, these ads must be edited/changed — especially those that are depicted as assault-style rifles/sniper rifles. NASCAR is still open to some of the less controversial gun accessories, concealed carry, or classes."
