Rep. Alexandria Occasion Cortez has 20zK in student loan debt

Because revenues did not decrease in FY 2018.

What's really pathetic about this whole exchange is that the very data you're citing is what is being used to undermine your case.

You exercise sophistry and bad faith when you make this statement without making mention of the fact that the $13B in revenue growth for FY 2018 is solely thanks to the three months of revenue that didn't have a tax cut.

Oct 2017 - Dec 2017 revenue (without a tax cut): +$29B
Jan 2018 - Sep 2018 revenue (with a tax cut): -$16B

So that's how you get +$13B in revenue for FY 2018.

You are deliberately hiding that detail because of what it means for your shitty argument, and you know it.

That's why you didn't even address it in any of your responses; that's why you didn't quote it...you are doing everything you can to conceal that data because you want to push a false conclusion.

You are a liar.

And, I never said those increased revenues were due to the tax cut--that is another made-up argument on your part. I simply said revenues were higher in FY 2018 and FY 2019.

Flash...that is what you were arguing because you said it in response to what I said; that tax cuts reduce revenues. I said that, then you said "nuh uh...FY 2018 saw higher revenues than FY 2017".

But what you didn't bother to mention was that FY 2018 didn't have a full year of tax cuts...it only had 9 months of tax cuts. And the nine months of tax cuts saw $16B less in revenues than the same nine months of the prior fiscal year. Which means...what? Come on, Flash, you're only playing at being dumb. You know what it means. That the Russia Tax Cut reduced revenues.

And yes, revenue grew in FY 2019, however, revenue would have been higher than it is now if taxes weren't cut in FY 2018.

As I said previously, I would think the reason had more to do with an expanded economy and inflation--something you mentioned in a post that showed you are starting to grasp some economic reality. Changes in government fiscal policy are not always predictable or responsible for changes in spending or revenues.

Conservatives predicted at least 3% growth.

Conservatives predicted that the deficit would disappear.

Conservatives predicted that there would be all these new jobs.

Conservatives predicted that wages -not after-tax income, but wages- would rise by at least $4,000.

Tax cuts are a stimulus, are they not? So explain how this tax cut will result in any of the things predicted in the future when none of those predictions happened in the first 20 months of the tax cut?

Tax cuts reduce revenues...that was the direct effect in FY 2018; the first three months of FY 2018 saw revenue increase by $29B...the last 9 months of FY 2018 saw revenue decline by $16B. The Russia Tax Cut started 3 months into FY 2018.

So Flash, if revenue was up $29B before the tax cut, but down $16B after it, what was the effect of the tax cut on revenues?

No, we're not being supported by cities.

Yes, you are. We just spent $30B bailing farmers out.

If we quit sending you food, you starve because you don't know how to grow or raise anything.

More than half of all produce in this country is imported.

Anti-social? No, not really. We have computers too

Antisocial refers to you refusing to leave your pockets of seclusion, that are being subsidized by urban taxpayers.

For example, every single resident in the Atlanta metro area pays an extra $500 in taxes that goes to support the rest of the state.

We pay 51% of the taxes in the state, yet only receive 35% of the spending.

You? As in who, you city shits? Not hardly, farmers have been subsidized for years by the federal gov't, not any city. And, the gov't often tells farmers what to and not to grow to receive those benefits.

Bullshit.

Pockets of seclusion? WTF are you trying to say, that you city shits subsidize our homes? You live in public housing and are on welfare, you don't pay taxes.
The other two sentences are belying bullshit, most of your posts are.

Subsidized for years by the federal government, the revenue from which comes mostly from blue states and urban areas.

No, we subsidize the roads, utilities, water lines, broadband (in some cases)...basically everything that makes it possible for you to live comfortably.

You're welcome.

Post proof of this.

You don't provide any more than rural taxpayers do for those utilities, roads, etc.
My hard work, long hours, smart investments and good paying jobs made my life comfortable.
Assholes like you are trying to make our lives less comfortable by taking what you are too lazy to earn yourselves.

You're a liar.

How so?

I linked to you the study from Georgia State that shows how much Atlanta residents pay vs. what they get back; that's applicable to pretty much every state, red and blue...urban areas simply have more people, generate more wealth, and pay more taxes than their rural trash counterparts.

You know that the 2017 tax cut didn't go into effect until 25% of the way through the FY.

You also know that for the three months prior to the tax cut, revenues were up by $29B, yet revenue only grew by $13B for the entire fiscal year.

No doubt those revenues were up due to anticipation of the tax cut.
