House Democrats needed to ‘do something’ because voters are getting bored with it. Well, the ‘something’ turned out to be Pelosi’s call for a totally unnecessary vote. If Pelosi can call for an ‘impeachment inquiry’ by simple decree—she hardly needs anyone’s permission to make the inquiry public.
This is not even good Kabuki theater.

Several RWers' talking points include some idea that the committees' subpoenas are unenforceable unless the House has voted to begin impeachment proceedings. So now they will be, if that rumor is true.

Trump will do the same thing Bill Clinton did if he's impeached. He'll laugh at them and finish his second term.
Assuming he gets elected again. It's not looking good.

I wonder why? They have been "baited" again.....either way, TRUMP gets his way. The left was publicly "shamed" into holding an up/down vote. If the vote fails.....game over. If it passes and the house passes it to the senate...game over, as a real hearing with real discovery and the rule of law will be enforced...revealing the fact, THERE WAS NO LAW BROKEN by Mr. Trump. Anyone? Name the US CODE LAW that MR. TRUMP supposedly breeched? Again...anyone, just present the US CODE that finds it against the law for a POTUS to conduct foreign policy....any way he wishes....to fire anyone he wishes, to command the military...and take out the 2 top ISIS agents? Again....anyone? Where is there a law that declares that a POTUS must seek advisory from the House of Representatives before ordering a strike in an area that was engaged and started by the last administration?
What I find really amusing? Both AA NANCY and SHITLESS going to the "sandbox" during a time period they ASSUMED a cease fire was in effect and the US was in a state of withdrawing from Syria.
