So is licensed concealed carry. But, like I said; try walking around with a baseball bat. Anecdotally, if you find yourself under police scrutiny, having a concealed carry permit is like having a good conduct medal. A law enforcement agency has certified you as a good citizen.

I, on the other hand have trained many in the safe and proper use
of a firearm when I taught firearms courses. Not one of those I've
trained have used their firearms in any criminal manner, NOT ONE!
