dec 25 2019 On Christmas Day, South Bend, Indiana, Mayor and 2020 Democrat Pete Buttigieg declared Jesus Christ an impoverished “refugee” without ever explicitly mentioning his name.

In a Twitter message, Buttigieg wrote:

Jesus didn't come to Earth "in poverty" as the faggot claims. Joseph was a skilled tradesman, able to earn a nice living. And, baby Jesus was further blessed with wealth by the visiting magi.

Jesus didn't come as a refugee. And, his families' brief fleeing of the authorities doesn't make him a refugee. His family didn't broke any immigration laws nor took welfare from where they visited. Jesus wasn't some wetback.

Egypt was not a different country from Bethlehem .. Egypt and Bethlehem were part of the Roman Empire

Again Jesus did not leave the Roman Empire to seek out protection from another empire.
