I’ve been called a RINO, trans righty etc because I didn’t vote for Trump. I’m well aware of how many Trump supporters feel about Republicans like myself.

Powell, or anyone, is free to vote however they choose. No one has to vote straight party every election. At the end of the day R and D are just labels.

But when Powell has voted Dem four elections in a row it loses its ‘shock’ value that a “prominent Republican” isn’t backing the party nominee.
