Biggest Racist statue goes down

Please read slowly again. I said LEGALLY.
Where is it legal to tear down a statue that you don't own?
Moving statues elsewhere intact is not violence. And you know what the community means. It can be a city and the citizens vote for it.
Statues are placed by various clubs, political groups, and by cities and States. No one voted to tear down any of them.
And I know violence is not free speech.
I'm not so sure you do.

Yes. So do I. But I am not going to deny their First Amendment right to do so.

The 1st amendment does not specify freedom of action or the freedom of arson. The Constitution does not give rights. See the 1st amendment:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Burning a flag is not speech. Burning a flag is not a peaceful assembly. It is not a petition. It is not any form of religion. This amendment applies only to Congress, in that they can pass no law concerning what one can say, what one can petition for, preventing the peaceful assembly of people, limit what people can print, post, produce a video, or cover in any newspaper. They can pass no law establishing a Federal religion, nor can they pass any law that outlaws any religion.

These restrictions apply only to Congress (the federal government). They do not apply to the States. They can pass any of these things legally (and have done so), according to their own State constitutions.

No document gives any right. The Constitution specifies limits to the government to keep their hands off rights you already have.

Burning a flag you don't own is arson and destruction of private property. That's a crime.
Commandeering city streets is theft, intimidation, and kidnapping. Those are crimes. There are residents on those streets that are trapped in there. There is no road anymore.
Defacing buildings you don't own is a crime. It is vandalism.

Nothing in the 1st amendment prevents any government from passing laws against these activities. See the Constitution of the United States and your own State constitution (unless you live in the SOTC, which currently has no functioning constitution).

There is nothing in the 1st amendment that prevents any government from passing any law about burning a flag. It is neither speech nor a religion nor a petition nor an assembly of people. The 1st amendment is not binding upon the States. It applies ONLY to the federal government (Congress). However, State constitutions typically contain similar wording that DOES apply to State and local governments in your State (if you are living in a State of the Union).

Why was it a pathetic decision?

If they make burning an American flag a criminal activity, what's next?

Burning a flag IS criminal activity if it's burning a flag you don't own.
Nothing prevents the federal government from passing a law about burning flags. There is nothing in the Constitution about burning the U.S. flag, and the U.S. flag is a symbol and banner of the government and the people of the United States.

You say you do not support flag burning. Yet, you are condoning flag burning. You are locked in paradox. Which is it, dude?

So the burning of Nazi flags, Confederate flags, USSR flags, Communist China flags, and others have nothing to do with "speech"?

It's time to start burning crosses on the steps of the Atlanta mayors home. Oh wait burning the cross is illegal in most circumstances because the SCOTUS said so which is why the SCOTUS has no legitimate authority as they are not an objective judicial body. The only equal justice in today's America comes out of the barrel of a gun.

It could mean anything.
Burning a flag is not speech. It is an action. If you don't own the flag it is arson and destruction of private property.
America is going in flames, for example.
You can say America is going in flames. You cannot necessarily burn a flag.
It could, as you have stated, mean those people hate America.
You can hate America (why are you still here???). You cannot necessarily burn a flag.
Or it could mean they hate the president or the government.
You can hate a president or the government. You can speak out against them. You can print material against them. You cannot necessarily burn a flag.
Anything.
Burning a flag is not speech. It is not protected by anything.
There were pastors who have burned Qurans.
So? Qurans are not flags. They also bought those Qurans. They are free to burn them.
What does that tell us?
That they're idiots.
What does that mean?
Nothing. Burning any book is being an idiot. There are just too many printing presses. In the case of these pastors, they PAID the publishers of that book so they could burn them! They only helped create circulation for that book!

You are making a special pleading fallacy. Qurans are not flags. If someone burns a book they don't own, they are just as guilty of arson and destruction of property as someone that burns a flag they don't own.

Burning a cross on the steps of anyone's home but your own is trespassing and endangering property. SCOTUS does not need to give it's permission to pass such laws.
You are also quite right. Guns are what created America. Guns are what keeps America free. People WILL stand up for protecting their kids, their homes, their families, their property, their State, and their nation.

Those who would start a war to tear these things down are starting a war they cannot win.

Where did I support burning our flag? I NEVER said I supported burning the American flag. Find it and point it out, I want to see it.

Then you utterly reject anyone burning the flag of the United States? You have no problem with any laws being passed concerning the burning of the U.S. flag? You will never support anyone burning a U.S. flag disrespectfully?

The ONLY time the American flag should be burned is in retirement. PERIOD!

Don't accuse me of something you cannot prove. Produce the evidence or shut up..

Okay. At this time I'll consider the paradox resolved. You will never make any objection to any law that makes it a crime to burn a flag disrespectfully, and you will never make any argument supporting those that burn the flag disrespecfully (even their own).

Right?

Burning a flag is not speech. It is an action. If you don't own the flag it is arson and destruction of private property.

Writing and speaking are actions. Acting is an action. Burning an effigy is an action.

And why are you telling me the obvious about arson and destruction of private property? If you own something and destroys or sets it on fire, it is legal.

You can say America is going in flames. You cannot necessarily burn a flag.

First Amendment says otherwise.

You can hate America (why are you still here???). You cannot necessarily burn a flag.

It is a bad form to make up stories about others. (That is called a straw man).

I do not hate America.

You can hate a president or the government. You can speak out against them. You can print material against them. You cannot necessarily burn a flag.

First Amendment.

Burning a flag is not speech. It is not protected by anything.

Protected by First Amendment. Something you know little about.

So? Qurans are not flags. They also bought those Qurans. They are free to burn them.

Some people bought their flags too. They are free to burn them.

You are making a special pleading fallacy. Qurans are not flags. If someone burns a book they don't own, they are just as guilty of arson and destruction of property as someone that burns a flag they don't own.

Strawman. You keep talking about arson and destruction of private property. If you know the fallacies well, you should know this.

Intimidating and terrorizing people are illegal.
