It's a victory because it allows you to think that the idea that racism is any kind of significant factor in American justice is a hoax. So, congrats on that.

And no - the past month has hightlighted how negligent America has been about racial issues. Trump had his shot a couple of years back, and blew it.

What this illustrates is how easily people will come to the wrong conclusion based on their preconceived biases. It raises the question of just how much of ‘systemic racism’ is based on misperceptions.

I’ll venture to guess the extent of it hasn’t been ‘underestimated’.
