I read the transcript and it’s entirely plausible Floyd was having shortness of breath from COVID *while he had Fentanyl on board*. No wonder he thought he was going to die.

Maybe ‘failing to call an ambulance in time’ is some sort of crime but they can kiss any serious charge good bye.

Then it will get blamed on ‘white oppression’ or whatever.

It did seem like an eternity for the ambulance to arrive.
Plus, I remember in the original video when he was still standing in the street with the cops,
Floyd kept saying, "I can't breathe."

If you want to blame the cops for not being ER doctors and defend a guy who died of a fentanyl ovedose/ meth combination then feel free to do so. But they will be found not guilty

Saint Floyd died of a drug overdose. It was his choice to take the drugs. Stupid games, stupid prizes and all that.

It will be interesting to see if they can still charge that LEO with 1st degree murder though in light of this. He should be hung either way, but this could get interesting.

I doubt they'll charge him with 1st degree murder. Maybe lesser charge. Manslaughter maybe.

We joked about the irony of the COVID part but Floyd may have actually been symptomatic with shortness of breath—while on Fentanyl. With his bad heart, the man was in danger of dying with or without the knee to the neck and that’s exactly what the defense is going to argue.

The cops can be faulted for lack of situational awareness [Floyd should have been placed on his side in the recovery position] but it’s not like they knew Floyd’s medical history and what drugs he was on.

Think about this: all of this rioting, unrest, violence, racial strife, monument toppling and etc, was all based on the death of man who made not have survived a trip in the ambulance.

Yeah, Donald Trump is the problem.
