Kamala Harris

Politico tweeted out, then took back, that Biden has picked Harris. If true a lot of people in the past have run against each other in the primaries, said things against each other in debates, and then one picked the other to be their VP. So this would be nothing new. But Harris damn near called Biden a racist based on his position towards busing and working with segregationist Senators etc.

Race is always a big topic but especially now with BLM, the protests and with Trump. And Biden could have a VP who inferred what she did. That would be so 2020.

And that is one reason Biden is the nominee and Harris is a might be VP candidate.

Whoever is the pick, could become the President. Kamala is a good choice.

That would be interesting and pretty fun. Though still not as crazy as picking Duckworth.

I like Susan Rice.

"Privately, some in California Sen. Kamala Harris’ world have indicated that Rice could be Harris’ most formidable rival for the vice presidential slot. Harris is widely considered the candidate with the best shot at being Biden’s running mate — she went through the press wringer when she ran against him in the primary and has decent name recognition. Like Rice, she would represent the first Black woman on a major-party presidential ticket."

You're one of the better posters here - but a Presidential candidate picking a VP candidate who had terrible things to say about him/her in the primaries is as old as American politics.

I also like Susan Rice too, I would make Senator Kamala Harris a supreme court justice?!!

That’s why I acknowledged it would be nothing new. I’m simply saying her comments to him during the debates about how she perceives his views on race, with all going on right now, just fits in well with this year.

Intelligent black women scare the rightys to death.

the butcher of Libya - no way

n contemporary political debates, the Libya intervention tends to be remembered as an intra-administration soap opera, focused on the role Clinton — or Susan Rice or Samantha Power — played in advising Obama to go through with it. Or it’s addressed offhandedly in reference to the 2012 terrorist attacks on the U.S. special mission and CIA annex in Benghazi.
But it would be far more pertinent to treat Libya as a case study for the ways that supposedly limited interventions tend to mushroom into campaigns for regime change. Five years on, it’s still not a matter of public record when exactly Western powers decided to topple Qaddafi.

Big Lie About the Libyan War
The Obama administration said it was just trying to protect civilians. Its actions reveal it was looking for regime change.
