This is outstanding. Many black people feel exactly the way this lady does and have done well on their own as this lady did. This is good.

There have been a few posts like this since everything started.

We can all chew gum & walk at the same time. There doesn't need to be a victim mentality to have a corresponding effort to ensure equality for all - in treatment & opportunity.

Every day, people rise above their circumstances to achieve their best. But does that mean there should just be acceptance of inequality in those circumstances?

One of the worst things you can do to a person is convince them they are a victim.
