It would actually be good if he did. It's not like Trump's Herpes or someone with HIV; most people recover and mostly the over-65 demographic get sick and die. If Biden has it, then he's proved he'll be fine. Trump is still an unknown. If he catches it, he could die.

Depends what studied you want to look at. The ‘controlled conditions’ would be using the HCQ cocktail *prior to* the onset of respiratory distress aka early in the game.
The ‘possible dangerous side effects’ is a non-starter or they wouldn’t give HCQ to people with lupus. If they ‘discovered’ these dangerous side effects in patients with late stage COVID symptoms [which can effect the heart] they should be charged with scientific malpractice.
