Good to know. I was watching Newsmix to compare the major cable networks, but hadn't thought about watching C-Span to see the uncensored version. Even Fox was censoring the RNC convention.
In the DNC's case, they ran their own broadcast unedited. The RNC is not.

We had a ban on fully automatic weapons. It was not successfully challenged as unconstitutional.
While the ban was in place we had fewer mass shootings, and the ones we had were not as lethal.
We let it expire and ever since then we have had more innocent deaths.
