It's fine to defend the country but a draft forcing recruitment of those that won't fight is not only immoral but detrimental to the entire fight. Sorry, but such things are beyond some people. You want to lose, go ahead and put people in your fight that would struggle to kill even to save themselves.

You assumed draft meant forcing people to kill. More evidence why you have a distorted view of the United States military. Also evidence you assume a draft means only serving in the military. Why not have a draft including options for AmeriCorps? The Peace Corps? WHO? Minimum wage, food, shelter and two years of college for every four years served.

Why do you hate the US government so much you can't expand your mind to the possibilities?

Yes. Do you know this is September 2020? Over 40 years since the draft ended in the USA? Are you aware of the problems facing our nation? Do you know the value of earning something? You seem to be a typical person who thinks just giving people things makes them better.
Here's some reality: It doesn't.

It's important that people earn for themselves and know they earned it. Human beings need to have a sense of value. If they are intentionally deprived of it, they will eventually fight. If they are given it, they might take it, but will be dissatisfied in the long run because they know they are being deprived of respect in exchange for money.

Respect is earned, it cannot be given. Every sane, educated, experienced adult knows this.

Well the only real solution is for him to lose "badly", so eventhough he may still have illusions of a 2nd term no one of importance is willing to follow him into a naked coup worthy of the little putins of central asia
