It appears that the Toadstool gave her a boat load of $$ for "consulting fees." If that turns out to be tax evasion, would she also be on the hook as well for accepting it? Or not, if she reported it as income?

Jared, on taxpayers money, flew to the middle east and managed to get loans that saved his family business. That was an enormous payoff. Ivanka of course benefitted from that. Actually, the USAF did know that water intrusion could mess up sensors (they are not calibrating sensors). Maintenance didn't clear the system of water before releasing the aircraft for flight. They are required to do that after opening the system for inspection or repair.

Water in the pitot/static system can happen to any aircraft. The B-2 bomber is somewhat more susceptible to this problem, due to the length of the system and it's poor layout.

Heck. I've seen this exact problem on a Cessna 150. Fortunately, the pilot was able to feel whether the aircraft was willing to fly and didn't believe the fault in the instruments. He waited until sufficient airspeed as he felt it, then lifted off safely, too the aircraft around totally by visual reference (he didn't have an altimeter either!) and landed without incident. I was the one that examined the fault in that aircraft. The previous mechanic did not clear water out of the system after he performed a repair. That mechanic was later fined by the FAA for that incident.

Doing the work properly means something. Dutch Uncle is wrong (yet again).
