UPDATED 16 million watched Trump and about 14 million watched Biden WHOOPS

CABLE HIGHLIGHTS: Even with the addition of MSNBC and CNBC, the TRUMP TOWN HALL couldn’t catch the ABC-only BIDEN TOWN HALL in the 18-49 demo, with MSNBC at 0.22 and CNBC at 0.13. However, those networks did change the lead in total viewers, with 1.8M on MSNBC and 720K on CNBC, for an overall total of 16M.

You may want to check your math:

"The BIDEN TOWN HALL adjusted up 0.3 to 3.0 in final numbers, and the TRUMP TOWN HALL was up half a point to 2.2. The margin was closer in the older-skewing Total Viewers metric, where the total was 14.1M vs. 13.5M."

My guess is that Trump is going to find himself skewered by older voters.

TikTok effort to manipulate Biden town hall YouTube ratings fails to beat Trump

A social media influencer tried to manipulate online ratings for Joe Biden’s ABC News town hall event Thursday to deny President Trump a ratings win for his rival NBC News forum — but he failed, with Trump triumphant in YouTube clicks.

Hank Green, who has a vast online following, implored TikTok users Thursday to watch Biden’s event on “every phone, television and computer.”

His video appeal scored 1.2 million “likes” and more than 21,000 comments on TikTok, a Red Chinese-owned platform.

Biden’s town hall, meanwhile, had 2.9 million views on ABC News’ YouTube channel. Trump’s town hall had about 4.7 million views on YouTube distributed across NBC News, CNBC and CNBC television channels as of noon Friday.

The town halls replaced a scheduled second debate scrapped by the Commission on Presidential Debates after Trump’s strong showing in the initial debate.

Biden’s event was sedate and made few headlines. ABC News host George Stephanopolous presided without grilling Biden about Hunter Biden's emails implicating the DEMOCRAT presidential candidate in his son’s lucrative business deals in Ukraine and China.

It’s unclear how many people adhered to Green’s call to fix the digital ratings.

On Twitter, Green told his nearly 900,000 followers, “Trump’s NBC Town Hall is now taking place at the exact same time as Joe Biden’s previously scheduled Town Hall. The only explanation I can imagine for this is that Trump wants to talk about how he got better ratings.”

Newsweek reports that in addition to streaming Biden’s town hall on multiple devices, “another tactic that TikTok users implemented to try to boost Biden’s ratings involved opening up YouTube using multiple Google accounts in multiple tabs.”

gosh.....I wish old people could vote........

Joe Biden's town hall on ABC averaged 14.1 million viewers on Thursday night, easily surpassing the Nielsen ratings for President Trump's town hall on NBC.

That alone was a result virtually no one in the TV business expected. And that's not even the most surprising part.
The Trump town hall was simulcast by two of NBC's cable channels, MSNBC and CNBC, but even when those channels are included in the total, Biden -- on only one network -- still prevailed.
The Trump town hall averaged 10.9 million viewers on the NBC broadcast network. On MSNBC, Trump reached 1.8 million viewers, and on CNBC, about 720,000 viewers. So Trump's gross audience across the three channels was 13.5 million, still fewer than Biden's audience on ABC alone.

The numbers were high on YouTube because Tik-Tok told all the little kids out there to create multiple YouTube accounts
and put the Biden Town Hall up on all of them. The gullibility of the left is just beyond belief.

Correct but I doubt more than 7% of voters will vote Third Party. Perot had the highest third party draw in 1992 but I expect this year to be about the same as 2016 which was 5.7%.

so seven percent of Florida votes third party.........and of the early voters today, how many voted for Trump and how many voted for Biden?......and what percentage decided to go out for coffee and skip voting all together?......

The discussion was about older voters, not speed daters at the old folks home. I'm content to wait until November for the most accurate numbers. No doubt the Trumpeteers will claim 40 million illegals and dead people voted across 50 states for Biden.
