I agree and the electors will do their thing and the federal elections commission will do its thing and the secret service and the U-Haul truck will do its thing. After all those things are done Biden will move into the White House.

It's fair to wait for all the counts to be completed, including legitimate recounts. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about after the EC casts their votes December 14th and Biden's election becomes official. Trump won't concede. He won't show for a peaceful transition of power.

Trump will go down screaming about being cheated. You and I both know he's incapable of acting like a responsible adult American who accepts the consequences of his actions. That's true regardless whether it's admitted or not.

All the sane people, especially those who can add, know it's a done deal. Sure, ask for a recount. As McConnell just announced, the Inauguration will go on as scheduled.

All this hemming and hawing by Trump and his administration does is slow down the transition process. It wouldn't be the first time Trump put his own interests over the nation's.....and certainly won't be the last.

How is that different from any other election? True, Trump has been beaten soundly in so many states that Biden is assured of 270 EC votes but if voters would like a recount, authorities should recount.

What do you think about Trump purging the entire Federal staff in a fit of rage? Firing Esper is just the first. I expect Trump to go in full meltdown mode once the recounts are done and even Ivanka is calling Daddy the loser.
