How stupid can a Republican Senator be and still be a Senator? First, elect a college football coach....from Alabama then elect him Senator.

As the Alabamians are finding out, "We get the government we deserve".

Tommy Tuberville may have gotten an “A” from Alabama voters Tuesday night, but likely earned an “F” from history teachers.

After easily defeating Doug Jones to become Alabama’s next U.S. Senator, Tuberville was addressing supporters in Montgomery and discussing his father – an American G.I. who landed at Normandy and fought in France.

Tuberville described how his father was a part of “liberating Paris from socialism and communism.

Americans liberated France from German Nazis – facists, not socialists, nor communists.

It wasn’t his first “historic” gaffe. During the campaign, Jones criticized Tuberville for not knowing what the Voting Rights Act was.

Tuberville, a former Auburn head football coach, defeated Jones with 60.4-percent of the vote.

You're going to get the "government you deserve"... I like that.....so true.....
The rest of us will be fine until 2024;)

This is another reason why flyover country should no longer be allowed to hold our presidential elections hostage with the antiquated Electoral College.

IMO, most Americans will always be fine. The problem is fixing it so all Americans can be better. There's always room for improvement and innovation.

You seem to think our government only works when Republicans are in charge, others think it's better with Democrats. I think both are failing to serve our nation by serving themselves and their small cluster of special interests as their top, and often only, priorities.

If We, the People stood together instead of being divided by all of those motherfuckers running the Democratic and Republican Parties, our nation would be far more secure, far more efficient and far more profitable.

He also didn’t know the three branches of government, scary.

Maybe Alabama should have elected the Crimson Tide Coach to be their Senator. Jus' sayin'.

LOL!

Remember when voters expected more from their elected representatives? Like that maybe they should be a bit smarter, more educated, better informed, etc. than the average Joe Schmoe? Some of us still do, but apparently not the knuckledraggers. lol

It's interesting though how you seem to have no problems going around here mocking other ppl to third parties, as though YOU know what THEY think, isn't it?

"Two sets of rules" for the win.

Shit or get off the pot, TOP. You said "The rest of us will be fine until 2024". Explain yourself or go sit on a stick and spin.

Reagan and Bush the Dumber are the causes. Cult of personality on both. Both were horrible Presidents who ended their terms with chaos and recessions.

What's to "explain"? But I did.... I said,
"There's always improvement when people work together, which is what I do every day.... you win with people, they say, after all..."
That's what we do here....so we'll be fine for the next 4 years....
