First off, everyone will die... sooner or later. Dutch Uncle did not say half the population would die from Covid-19, no one said that. I said that a lockdown could hypothetically make sense if combatting a an influenza outbreak that kills half of all infected. I used that as an extreme example.
The point was to not overload the medical system, which gets harder to do as the experts figure out how to deal with COVID and if Bret and Heather are right as this bug evolves into a less lethal form.
Inslee just announced that WA is going most of the way back into Lock-Down BTW....say good-bye to a whole bunch more of businesses that have been trying to hold on.

The left doesn't care about small businesses. They want people unemployed on the govt doll, voting for them.
People relying on Govt and all businesses to be big tech giving campaign contributions to Dems.
