The great, really great news is that a fucking moron tried to take over the country and failed. The system worked. That's fucking awesome!

Sure, a little scary but now We, the People have a good idea on what safeguards can be enacted to prevent it from happening again.

The GOP didn't have to endorse & encourage them. Cruz didn't need to give them inspiration. Hawley didn't have to pump his fist. Trump didn't have to call the rally and let everyone know to "fight," while his minions talked about "trial by combat."

And certainly, MANY Republicans didn't need to keep baselessly claiming that the election was stolen, and that their votes didn't count.

The right made their own bed on this. It's an important lesson. And I hope they learn from it.

For now, they're going to have to deal while Democrats govern, and change the course of America.
