Chauvin is guilty.

Manslaughter may not be murder, but it can still get you some time in prison if you are convicted. The sentence for second-degree manslaughter could net a defendant up to 10 years in prison. ... However, in many cases, they will likely serve less than 5 years. [FONT=arial, sans-serif]Minnesota, that's not enough time for his crime!

On the upside, Chauvin, could get a shiv in his back or a dick up his ass in the joint, if he is in the general population?!!

I don't think the jury will be comfortable with convicting a cop of murder. But 2nd degree manslaughter fits Chauvin's actions.

Weird how people think. Some like yourself actually believe the cop committed murder. They believe murder is WRONG...

Same people......." I hope the cop gets raped and murdered in jail"

:bigthink:

Too bad you arent the prosecutor because as it stands they are an incompetent group of buffoons. Today Chauvins defense attorney got to this cardiology doctor to say that had floyd gotten into the police car like he was instructed, he'd likely be alive today. LMFAO the guy is sa fucking genius compared to the idiots on the other side

Yeah, because there wouldn’t have been 9 minutes on his neck.

Floyd was not an ideal citizen.

But he passed a fake bill and while doing this, he had drugs in his system and didn't want to go to jail.

He was handcuffed behind his back and was placed face down on the ground with varying amounts of pressure placed on his body and after 9 + minutes he was dead without the cops ever trying to ascertain his well being or alleviating the restraint techniques despite repeatedly saying he couldn't breathe, despite the entreaties by onlookers and the attempt by another cop to get Chauvin to ease up.

Basically, Floyd died for passing a fake $20.

Chauvin deserves prison.

My problem with this from the beginning was taking Floyd out of the car after they already had him in there. Turns out, they had no choice but to pull him out of the car because he was banging his head against the divider so hard he was bleeding. You say they weren't checking on him but from what I read of the testimony Chauvin was doing that. I've changed my mind on this, I no longer think Chauvin deserves prison time.

Chauvin was told by a fellow officer that Floyd had no pulse. His response was something like, uh huh.
