Texas reports zero COVID deaths 2 months after Biden slammed 'Neanderthal thinking'

Texas reported zero deaths from COVID-19 on Sunday, just two months after Gov. Greg Abbott drew heat from the White House for rolling back business restrictions and lifting the state's mask mandate.

It marked the first time the Lone Star State reported no coronavirus deaths in about 14 months, according to state health data. Abbott said the case numbers reported on Sunday – 388 – were the lowest in more than 13 months, while the number of hospitalizations was the lowest in 11 months.

President Biden skewered Texas, as well as Mississippi, at the beginning of March for relaxing lockdown measures, accusing state officials of "Neanderthal thinking." At the time, Abbott had announced that businesses would be allowed to operate at full capacity – even though some health experts cautioned at the time that dropping preventative measures could lead to a spike in cases.

Shows that Neanderthals are smarter than Biden. But that is no surprise.

LOL, no it doesn't. It shows that Texas does not fully report on Sundays. You are such a clown. The 7 day moving average of deaths in Texas is in the low 40s. It's declining because the most at risk populations have been vaccinated. You struggle with those connect the dots puzzles, don't you? BTW, according to World Meters Texas reported three deaths yesterday. Not zero. So you didn't even get that right. I note the absence of a link. Funny that.

Recent discoveries by anthropologists have revealed that Neanderthals were much more intelligent than previously thought.

I believe they were the first to bury their dead. But that nugget is going back to Jr High school,
so their may have been earlier ones discovered by now. Butt nugget, see what I did there?

This is the FIRST TIME in 13 months that Texas had a 0 death rate for ANY day in 13 months moron.

So what? Single day counts don't mean much, especially weekend counts. Look at the seven day average. Going down, but not as fast as in many places.

It means Texas has been trending down since Abbot opened up the state and President MORON called him a Neanderthal for doing it.
