Would you rather live in a Socialist country or an Authoritarian country?

so·cial·ism | ˈsōSHəˌlizəm |
noun
a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.
• policy or practice based on the political and economic theory of socialism.
The term “socialism” has been used to describe positions as far apart as anarchism, Soviet state communism, and social democracy. The socialist parties that have arisen in most European countries from the late 19th century have generally tended toward social democracy.

au·thor·i·tar·i·an·ism | ôˌTHäriˈterēənizəm |
noun
the enforcement or advocacy of strict obedience to authority at the expense of personal freedom.
• lack of concern for the wishes or opinions of others.

Fuck you, commie cocksucker OP, k?

Take your ass to Cuba, bitch! Your socialist paradise awaits there for you!

Capitalism here in the United States is fast becoming an abomination...a greater threat to our nation than a benefit. We cannot allow "capitalism" to mean that the major factor of production (and the most rewarded) is capital and entrepreneurship. LABOR is much, much too important to the overall economy to be treated the way it is being treated here...and the way the future seems to be shaping up for it.

A reasonable "free market system" is something that China is adapting to its socialism...and it is a valuable component.

But the thing that "made America great" is the fact that we had an almost entire continent to rape and pillage to our advantage. If socialism had prevailed from the beginning, we would still be a wealthy, powerful nation...perhaps even more so than we actually are right now.
fantastic Frank.. keep it up with the 1619 "america is a racist construct" project

Trick question since both become authoritarian asshole countries. There are no Socialist countries which are free.

is Sweden run by an autocrat?

Denmark?
Canada?
the UK?

Which one of those is better than the USA, dipshit?
Which one wouldn't fit inside of Texas, hmm?

Think about it..Canada..where everything is frozen..

Hey dumbass, socialism means the government rules everything.

Yeah, you want that, I get it, but you're a retard without it being your fault.

It's never worked out good for the people. Will you deny that?

Tell me where the people have come out ahead of the government in any "Democratic Socialist" country.

(And I'll give you 1 gajillion dollars)
I actually have a friend from Norway. He makes good money and has lots of kids.

Their system is capitalistic. Nothing like what you desire.

Socialism and communism is a recipe for fail and oppression, you little fucktard.

It has yet to work for the good of the people, (it has not yet, after being tried a bunch of times) it always works for the benefit of those in charge. AKA government.

Maybe I can get through to you.

Dude, do you agree there's a difference between a Socialist country and a "democratic socialist" country? If so, then you have your answer because none of those are socialist countries. Most are Constitutional Monarchies. Fucking Euros, eh? LOL

How about the People's Democratic Republic of Korea? Do you think it's really Democratic or a Republic?

ORLY?

Try that shit here and we'll ventilate your POS skulls, and you better take that seriously. Boy.

Because Americans damn sure will. You got life fucked up if you think you're going to institute Communism in America.

We're the offspring of people that stormed Normandy Beach on D-Day so you could be free to spout your nonsense, but don't try us, because we will fuck you up.

That ain't no bullshit, boy. And a large percentage of us can hit a quarter @ 100 yards.

They don't have to be run by an autocrat to be autocratic. Government bureaucracies and laws can do the job quite nicely.

In the UK table knives are controlled. You have to be 18 to buy one and have to fill out paperwork.

You do know in most of those countries you have to have a government license to own a television don't you?

Danish Parliament recently passed a majority of controversial laws in a 22-proposal bundle known locally as the “ghetto package.” Among these laws are plans to forcibly educate poor immigrant children in Danish customs for 25 hours per week, double the punishment for crimes committed in certain immigrant-majority neighborhoods, and increased surveillance of government-designated “ghetto families.”

All of those listed countries are authoritarian to a good degree. The US is headed that way as the Welfare state and socialized government expands.
