I wrote it "shouldn't" cause any real hardship, but what is the purpose of limiting Sunday hours?

White people go to church but they don't have the tradition of marching to vote ("souls to the polls"). Of course, many black services last a long time. But, why further alienate a group that already thinks Republicans are racist? Republicans have only won the popular vote once in the last 8 presidential elections and they are killing themselves.

I never claimed there was any racism or that any votes were being suppressed. You asked for the actual provisions of the law and why it is considered racist. I provided that.

But that law did not pass and the legislative session has ended. The governor has to approve of any issues considered in a special session and it is likely to be revised before it is passed.

I think they took out the provision that allows a partisan observer to video any voter at the polls (hardly a conservative principle).
