About tech stocks...

US military presence around the world is why we haven't been able to afford infrastructure here at home for 40 years, and could help explain the ransomware attacks on gas, computer chips, and beef.

I fail to see how they can be at their highest ever when none of those companies are even bringing any products to market.

How can the stock be soaring when they have no product to market at all?

There is NO inventory. Zero! No products whatsoever!

I think China might be trying to take over Taiwan may be the reason.

I just can't wrap my head around how companies with nothing to sell can have their stock keep rising.

I tell you this: It's unsustainable.

So don't buy them. Did you have a point? How are your investments doing?

:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

From my understanding, the shortage of low cost computer chips is about production problems with old equipment, not ransomware. They are still using 20-30 year old 200 millimeter wafer equipment that is no longer made to manufacture these low cost chips. Keeping them going, and even increasing production, is difficult given their age (and lack of easy replacements). With a redesign, those chips could be made on newer 300 millimeter wafers, but that would drive up the cost by a few dollars... And these chips cost much less than a dollar each.

We still lack infrastructure when compared to Europe and Asia. China is ranked number 1 in high-speed rail and is way ahead of the world in 6G mobile networks.

We are way behind in high-speed rail. The little we have would not be considered high-speed rail anywhere else, so effectively we have none.

5G is rolling out nicely. 6G is being worked on, but no one has that. Whichever country you live in, you will have to wait close to a decade for it.

Great, actually. 368% and 168% respectively. On the ones that are up right now. I have other irons in the fire.
But hey, the ones I stuck with are up and soaring to #1, maybe so will the others. I was up today, a bit.
As in the gains outweigh the losses.

What piece of tech that you'd like to buy is available?
I think China is trying to take over Taiwan, and it'll all just go to shit.
Taiwan is not going to bend or break. China cannot do what Taiwan does, and they're not going to be impressed into slavery for the CCP.
They have that American spirit, baby! :D

Jump on the Cali High Speed rail. Do let me know how far you get!

All those billions from all of America, and you can't. Get anywhere on Cali high speed rail.

Skeletor did our state a favor by turning that bullshit down.

He might be a grafty motherfucker, but he's not a traitorous asshole.

Your understanding is super jack-shit.

Things are supposed to be manufactured and brought to market and they are not being. OMG, you don't even know what nanometer processes are, STFU! Idiot!

Who will be rolling out 5 nm chips next year, huh? Fucking dumbass. You don't understand a fucking thing about this and shitpost in my thread, fuck you!

You possess no understanding of this. STFU!

Well, China has 'State support' for their 'Champion Industries' while the US only has 'State support' for their 'Military Industries'.
So, it's about time the US get it's head around 'Technology'.

Hint: It wasn't a Nuclear Submarine that shut down Colonial Pipeline.

this seems to imply that government can do better than any private organization.....is that what you're saying?

That's not the case, even in Taiwan/China.

If China tries to take it all over? It's done. Toast.

They are not going to do China's bidding. No sir.

Just forget about that stuff for a while. If we could import those people, that would be great.

Biden would never think of that.

There's nothing available to buy that is tech right now.

Try to buy a uhh..AMD RX 580 right now and post prices. Then I'll tell you what the prices should be.

Let me know what you find in stock.

You know absolutely nothing about business. I have no idea what tech company has 'no product', but that's about the dumbest take I've ever seen here.

You have two stocks?

I have a masters degree in Computer Engineering. I have studied VLSI design, though never done it in my professional life. So I know more than you, but am not an expert.

The chip shortage is not in new chips, but rather in chips that were designed literally decades ago. They are manufactured on equipment that has not been made in over 20 years. It is tough to produce more chips with shrinking amounts of aging equipment.

There are only two companies rolling out 5nm chips, TSMC and Samsung. Both are in technical war zones that have had cease fires for 70 years. Both could spark up in war at any time.

Intel fell out of competition.

Politicians care more about donations from the airline and auto industry than giving people what they want and need. Single-payer healthcare would eliminate the middleman and save cost, so there is no way politicians will allow it. I can go on and on but young people are catching on to our corrupt system and are taking their anger to the streets. There was federal coordination to quash Occupy after we were told banks are too big to fail. Every year we spend more on militarized police to prevent we the people from having basic human rights.

HOLY FUCK DUDE. What does a law firm produce? An accounting firm? A hospital? An insurance company? An IT shop? Are you really really this fucking dumb? Please don't discuss investments and business. Stick to guns, old TV shows, and conspiracy theories.

The US is a service economy. Get a fucking clue.

Okay, I give you're not totally ignorant of the situation, so why is there a worldwide shortage of hardware?

STFU you fucking dunce. I am referring directly to tech companies that produce hardware, idiot!

Silicon and chokes or shut your fucking ignorant mouth.

How many amps is the average choke, motherfucker? Huh?

You have no clue, you're just running your cockholster and hoping nobody knows better.

Sorry, bitch! I do.

When what a company does is sell hardware, and then they have no hardware to sell for months on end..it makes no sense for their stock to be sky high when they are delivering nothing. It's all about delivering the goods, baby.

Either you make it happen, or you don't, and fail. True Story. I'll watch this one unfold from the sidelines. Laughing at your fucktarded ass for why not. :D

Or mainly because you're a blowhard fucktard. :tongout: Prove me wrong.

So you are claiming that tech companies that produce hardware don't produce hardware?

ROTLMFAO!!! You need to withdraw from this discussion. You are absolutely clueless.

Single payer is unacceptable to Republicans, but then again, multi-payer is also unacceptable to Republicans.
