No idea, but here are some more photos of the same location that look very similar
This one is a little earlier, the lights aren't on yet.
In this one the crowd is much smaller and the lights are on but it's still pretty bright out.
About the same time given the smoke present.
You can easily see the picture was darkened some and the lighting in the center added as the later is nowhere to be seen in other photos of that location.
Here's another that's a bit darker but not as much as the one in question:
Same location, about the same time, and no lighting in the area the photo in question has it.
Or this one taken a bit later on the left of police. Note the absence of lighting in the background and the tint of the picture.
The photo in question was undoubtedly photoshopped.

Conservatives say "government is the problem", then get elected and prove it.
If you truly want effective government, you can't elect people who are opposed to it on a fundamental level.
But I bet if you polled people on their elected Representatives, you'd see that most of them have majority support and favorability.
It's everyone else's representatives that they have a problem with, not their own.
So the riot was still going on at 6:00PM...which is why Anatta posted this at 5:55PM...because he thought the coup would succeed:

No, I'm not arguing that at all. I just pointed out that the photo in question was photoshopped and then used as propaganda. I've found most copies of it being used on Left leaning to Leftist sites. It wouldn't be a first, and it's hardly isolated to the Left, but the Left does seem to have a greater propensity to do this sort of thing.

Yup. No doubt Son thinks just like his daddy and they don't trust them guv'ment times.
It reminds me of the Starr Investigation. Clinton had three business days to pay her margin call. She paid it in four days, but that included two weekend days. Starr did not believe Clinton, nor the perpetual calendar that any law office keeps, nor the computers, nor anything else. He demanded the US Naval Observatory spend $50k writing a report proving it was a weekend.
No doubt there's more to the story than that, but politics in Washington DC has never been very cost efficient in the past 50 years.
