I expect an absolute yawner lol.

I think our domestic insurrectionists were put to same by the actual insurrectionists in Kabul a few weeks ago. They really need to up their game. Who’s bright idea was it to not bring firearms? It’s almost like democrats were running it.

I think some will. Criminal conspiracy investigations can take awhile, maybe even years. I also believe murder charges against the conspirators will be on the table since 5 Americans died as a result of their plans.

Most won't be charged as terrorists; specifically the Qless Sheeple who just followed the flock. It's those who came planning to take the Capitol and execute the leadership in a coup attempt who could face terrorism charges, life in prison at ADX Florence or the death penalty.

Agreed. A few Qless will try to start something and be quickly taken down. Most are sheeple who won't do much unless someone tells them to do something. The militia have faded back into their cesspools.

Just playing the probabilities.

There were any number of large Trump rallies that were absolute yawners with respect to violence. 1/6 was the outlier, not to mention there’s reason to be suspicious of some ‘coordination’ on the part of the feds. Maybe one day we will learn something about the unindicted co-conspirators involved with it. Or not.

In either event, the smart money goes on the yawner.

Yes, I think there are a few nuts out there crazy enough to try. Several have already, but the plots have been broken up before their plans could be executed.

There were multiple terrorist attacks against the US in the Clinton years. Not much was done to stop them until 9/11 even though the military and intelligence communities were very concerned.

All it takes is just one Trumpist white supremacist terrorist to set off a bomb and kill a lot of Americans as their hero Timothy McVeigh did. It only takes one successful attack to create a disaster.

I worked on M Street in DC like 28th or 30th st, I forget which, while in college during the summer as a waiter. I think it also housed DC 101 radio station.
We'd get bomb threats every so often. Never heard one go off. Those were Reagan years. Not sure if it were leftists who hated Reagan,
anyone who hated lobbyists, or if they hated "The Greaseman or H. Stern" Anyway, someone would call in a threat, everyone would clear out.
Then at some point we'd all walk back and just work.
