What is CRT?

Now see, I didn't like the wiggism so much.

Me and my black friend had just burned some really good..we were holding the posts up in front of the arcade before going in to hustle some pool..

And this little wigger rolls up wearing some red parachute pants and vest with no shirt and some fake chains, throws his hand up all crazy and says "Yo, Playa!" and goes on in.

OMG we lost it..could not get off the ground for laughing so hard so long.

Crippled by laughter.

see, we didn't talk wigger. I was in central indiana. rap was only just beginning.

incorrect......CRT is not a feeling of racism........it is a teaching method, in which a child is deliberately and incorrectly taught that such personal feelings invade all social policies and law..........

I said it is not a feeling of racism but the transfer of racist feelings into policy and sometimes into law. Nor is it "a teaching method". It's not a method at all. It's theory. But if you have a source other than yourself, let's see it.

Suffice it to say that CRT is an attempt to separate the races and teach young black children that they are oppressed and young white children that they are the oppressors.

Total horse mierda and rejected in Virginia and around the country.

Some on the left claim that CRT is simply teaching history.

No problem if so but it isn’t. History also includes movies like “Song of the South” and radio and TV shows like “Amos and Andy.” Both have been censored by the left.

Uncle Remus was around for over 100 years until the left killed him

Exactly backwards. CRT is an attempt to understand racism as a way of coming to grips with it. The inane responses on this thread from you and others suggest the attempt is at least partly in vain.

In PK?

The inanity is yours, pendejo.

The left just had their clock cleaned due to teaching CRT race hatred in the schools.

You would think they would repent and go away.

That's the point, It's not in PK. Your argument is as clueless as your expression of regret at the "loss" from current culture of Uncle Remus and Song of The South.

About that, Uncle Remus with its stories based on authentic black folklore is still in print. You can buy it at Amazon. Song of the South, by contrast, fell out of favor. You evidently still admire its portrayal of plantation life - black families living gaily under beneficent white masters - but overall the film hasn't worn well.

I have no doubt that the subprime crisis was in part caused by Dems using CRT to allow dubious mortgage loans to be approved to minorities that were unable to pay them back.

 You must have gotten that from the Gateway Pundit or others of its ilk. The crisis all happened on bush's watch. Repugs tried to blame it on a law from 1977, and even on Bill Clinton. What a surprise.

True. It is finally backfiring on the democrat party.

Browsing the forum this morning I came upon the following post about the meaning of CRT:

“Part of the obfuscation of this issue by the Left is that they focus solely on curricula. That is they say CRT isn't being taught as a subject in K-12 schools. In that they're correct. As a subject it isn't being taught.

But that doesn't wipe away that CRT is being used because it is. There are two parts to teaching, curricula and pedagogy. Curricula is an outline of what is to be taught while pedagogy is how it will be taught. What versus how.

Where CRT is being used is in pedagogy. It doesn't show up in curricula but does when you observe how the teacher teaches the material in the curricula.

As an hypothetical example, a teacher is teaching the class about pre-Civil War slavery. She (85% of teachers K - 12 are women) wants the class to do an exercise where minority students are made slaves, and the white students slave owners. She then turns that into a lesson about race and privilege. She just used the basic tenants of CRT to teach a class about slavery. Maybe she adds in stuff to make the white students feel guilty about their supposed privilege, that sort of thing. That would further indicate she's using some variant of CRT to teach the subject. If she went further and told the students that the whites were still guilty for slavery and privilege, then all doubt is removed. This is CRT to a tee.

So, CRT is being used in schools--many schools--in one form or another as part of teaching subject matter.”

The member who quoted the post described it as, “brilliant”.

Brilliant in its way or not it is incorrect. What the member describes is the common idea of racial prejudice with its example of a teacher having her students picture themselves in the position of oppressed black people in order to “feel what is was like”. Not that terrible an idea but not CRT.

CRT in fact is the opposite of what the member describes. It is not the personal feeling of racism but rather the transfer or expansion of such personal feelings into social policies and even law - landlords and lenders and country clubs that accept or reject tenant applications on the basis of race, for example; educational institutions that do the same unless compelled to reverse the advantage in favor of black applicants. CRT focuses on the institutional side of racism, in other words. And it does this both ways, looking not only at the transfer of personal prejudice to social systems but also the transfer of institutional racism to personal experience, such that when an organization is accused of racism its members may feel accused personally even though the specific charge is about something they had nothing to do with or hadn’t known about.

Whether you buy these theories or not you should be able to recognize they are at a level that would not be taught in grade school. You might also recognize they have merit. There is much about what
CRT really is to be found with a little googling if you look.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ OH LOOK!!! THE LYINGASS FUCKNUTS ARE STILL PLAYING "WORD GAMES" TO TRY TO LIE ABOUT THE FACT THAT AMERICAN SCHOOL KIDS ARE BEING TAUGHT THAT THEY ARE "BORN OPPRESSORS", or "BORN VICTIMS".....BASED ON THEIR RACE.

SPARE US YOUR LYINGASS BULLSHIT; WE KNOW THAT THEY ARE, AND WE ARE CRUSHING IT, AND YOU WITH IT, IF YOU CONTINUE TO INTERFERE WITH OUR RIGHT TO CONTROL WHAT OUR KIDS ARE TAUGHT IN OUR SCHOOLS...FASCIST BASTARDS. .

It's always amusing when an unemployed kept man living in a shithole country thinks he knows more about what happened during some period of American history than those of us who lived it, isn't it? BTW, the subprime mortgage economic debacle was a global market event, not just American, and it was caused by greedy ass investment firms and mortgage lenders. It had absolutely NOTHING to do with CRT, redlining, or the like.

Think about this goober , the demoghrics are changing and in the not too distant future you kind will be just another minority along with the teaching of more history not too your kinds liking

Either cite a textbook or lesson plan that uses these words "KIDS ARE BEING TAUGHT THAT THEY ARE "BORN OPPRESSORS", or "BORN VICTIMS".....BASED ON THEIR RACE" or admit you're just a lying liar.
