Bush is the one who tied his tax cuts to the growth of the housing market, and he wasn't the only one who did that while campaigning in 2004.
So if his tax cuts were responsible for the growth of the housing market, they're also responsible for the collapse of the housing market since they're instrinsically linked.
The only reason you and Bush weakened standards for lending in 2004 was because the tax cuts didn't deliver on a single promise made of them, and you needed to make the economy look like it was growing as a result of tax cuts, when it was really growing as a result of debt.
