So, You Want $15 An Hour?

You seriously do not think homelessness is a caused by unemployment benefits.....they have homelessness problems in every state.

Homelessness is not an individual failure, but a societal one.

There are something like 4 unoccupied houses for every 1 homeless person in the US.

Homelessness is a choice made by society; it doesn't have to exist at all...and yes, there will always be drifters, but they're not who we're talking about.

You are failing here Daniel. See if you can regroup and come on back.
Let's say, hypothetically, the chief magistrate of our Union merely exercises his executive authority to require faithful execution of our own at-will employment laws for unemployment compensation in our Union of States. The legal and physical infrastrastructure already exists. We should have no homeless problem in our republic; all it may require is equality and equal protection of our own laws.

The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States.

Unemployment is a state run (not federal) insurance program. I'd think that you'd know that claiming you run a business and having to pay into such a program for your workers. Workers draw unemployment from that insurance program when they become unemployed for reasons other than quitting employment on their own. The homeless aren't eligible for unemployment simply because they are homeless. A homeless person can be employed and many are, particularly in states like California where the cost of housing exceeds many's ability to pay for it even with a good job.

I've already discussed where I live on this forum. The industry I'm in is small enough that, yeah, explaining what we do would be a dead giveaway. There are only two other companies in Florida that do what we do; one in Ft. Lauderdale and one in Pensacola.

Sorry, but you don't get to have that information...

:rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

I can't tell you, or I'd have to kill.

Should we insist financial engineers be included with any Corps of Engineers?

What if we assume for the sake of argument, that since we are solving for a simple poverty of money circulating in our economy, we can merely raise the minimum wage to raise more tax revenue from general forms of taxation?

Absent a much more comprehensive public sector
and a much more regulated private sector,
our headlong dive into third world status will continue unimpeded.

America is an experiment on its very last legs.
It's absolutely mind boggling that so many of our citizens still don't see it.
That's what happens when we try to forge a nation comprised of misfits who couldn't cut it in their nations of origin.

Maybe once we partition, some of the resulting smaller nations will have a chance.
Most of the current red states, unfortunately, will be fucked.

Indeed.

The Pilgrims had it right...work or starve.

And, as in your life, you prove to be a complete fucking failure in explaining how you determine that I have no humanity. I challenge you to explain that. Or, don't, and continue to be a complete failure.

I really don't give a shit either way...

Oh, you "give a shit."

And more than likely, you realize how devoid of humanity you actually are.

You think of success in terms of money.

For that, you are to be pitied...and I do pity you. I do find it entertaining, though, that you think I should be jealous of you. Fact is, that would be like being jealous of someone for having leprosy.

In any case, your lack of humanity is self-evident...and trying to explain it to you would be like trying to explain what blue is to a blind person.

“Edge of poverty.”

As the FOX Business folks say...you can never have too much money.

President Trump, in the top five of best US presidents.

That may not last long due to TrumpCo's many legal entanglements. Banks may start calling their loans before TrumpCo declares bankruptcy since the courts would then control payment.

Trump is, by far, the worst president we've ever had. The only people who continue to support him...are morons.

The Good News is twofold: More Republicans are side-stepping away from Trump and multiple investigations are drawing to a close with multiple charges against TrumpCo expected to be filed.
