So, You Want $15 An Hour?

I don't get that sense at all. I think he's out of his depth and afraid to engage.

While I do have him on ignore, I see what he posts when you quote him. For him to say I'm not willing to have the discussion is outright laughable. I lost count of the times I tried to get him to do it and he refused. That's glaringly obvious.

Did I insult him? I sure as fuck did. But that's how I respond when someone decides they just want to be a douchebag and start slinging shit.

The fact that you said his posts in this thread are better than his usual "orange man bad" post tells me all I really need to know about him, quite frankly...

I look at it as you drew him out of his shell. :D

Which is why the dystopian futures predicted in so many sci-fi movies will be science fact in the coming years.

Because we as a people, allow it.

Remember Ghandi, remember the French Revolution, remember King.

The reason for that would be Social Marxists just like you.

The French Revolution were the 1st commies.

You're a bigger fuckin' idiot than Frank.

See, as the owner of my business, I can guarantee what happens with my pricing. If I want to keep my prices where they are and not raise them, I can most definitely do that.

I don't suspect you'll have the balls to actually answer a question, but I'll give it a shot. Now that I've answered your question, please answer mine: Do you honestly think prices will remain the same if minimum wage is raised? Here in Florida, minimum wage is ten bucks an hour. Voters decided it needs to be $15 an hour; a hike of 50%. Do you honestly expect that prices on consumer goods won't increase, as well?

Once again, your argument is simplistic and stupid. Potentially, some prices may rise, but the reality is that increased pay leads to better retention, more productivity, and prices, while they may rise a little, are flexible enough that it's unlikely they will have much impact on demand. Especially among those consumers who are getting more as a result of the minimum wage. Many studies have demonstrated this to be true. You appear to know almost nothing about economics, and even less about business. It's sublime.

I would much, much rather live in a different country than in a red state.

I remember going to Florida to have fun.
Parties. Golf. Beach. Jai alai. Hot shows at the Eden Rock. Race track (both ponies and puppys).
Now I'd rather freeze my ass off for a few months than spend a dime in that rathole.

I doubt it...

Do the people allow it, or do the people cause it?

There are a lot of lazy people out there getting paychecks. If their boss decides to replace them with a kiosk or other form of automation in the name of productivity, whose fault is that?

Alrighty...

And as your corporate automated utopia becomes a reality, just what do you think is going to happen to all those folks who's jobs are replaced? See, if you're not a major/significant stock holder, you're pretty much regulated to LOW paying jobs with minimal (if any) benefits.

My last sentence points out that when the people organize and commit to non-compliance and resistance, the elites and owners and corporatist eventually see the wisdom in compliance as opposed to stubborn dominance.

I like that! Keep your sorry yankee POS ass right where you are! We don't need you for a fuckin' thing!

Never have and never will. It was 84 here today. Freeze, cocksucker!

God, I truly believe that you are actually this fucking dumb!

THINK, Matty, THINK! The OP is laying out the current trend by large companies and corporations. What the hell do think is going to happen to the jobs of people as this automation corporate wet dream happens? Or do you think that your particular circumstance will not be affected? See, if you're not a major/significant stock holder, you're pretty much regulated to LOW paying jobs with minimal (if any) benefits. Now I know your little brain is going to concoct some fantastic tale to counter what is (and has been) a reality for some time now, so try and make it as believable as possible, okay?

Oh, and for the record: King and Ghandi were NOT communist. The French Revolution was about getting rid of elitist monarchy....something the creation of America was all about. You ignorant fool.

He's correct about you being a bigger idiot than Frank. You're also a "1-up" liar piece of shit.

But I do agree about the increased pay stuff you posted. You're still a turd, though.

What I do cannot be done by a kiosk, brah.

And as for your assessment of the French Revolution? You're dead wrong and a fucking idiot to boot.

It's no wonder you're a commie piece of shit because you're dumber than dirt, k?

FUCK YOU!

You side with the elitists in America, how do you like that French Revolution when the oppressed rise up here, boy?

Do you really think they won't? How naive are you?

Whatever you do is NOT white collar management, bunky. Now, if you're a plumber or appliance repair, then you're secure. Cops, firemen, Sanitation and public utility workers for the most part are safe. Then again, even Wall St. folk are being replaced by faster computer probability systems. But stop and ask yourself if the automated customer service systems that are taking over for consumer products really that helpful easier to deal with? And aren't folk like you the ones immediately bitching about folk on welfare? Or any social service option for that matter? Again, WTF do you think happens to all those victims of automation?

And don't get me started out-sourcing.

As to your spittle spewing ignorance of the French Revolution....:palm: Here genius, a primer for your education:

Dude, My great great grandpa fled the French revolution. I kinda know about it. He was a French aristocrat.

As for automation in stores? Kiosks? I don't like them. I will boycott them as much as possible. The time may come soon where I just leave my cart at Walmart because they have no cashier lanes open.

Dude, no one gives a damn (even it it's true)....and your lineage has NOTHING to do with the blatant racism, bigotry and sheer proud ignorance that you consistently display on this board. And please explain to the reading audience how your lineage tale disproves JUST ONE item in the link I provided in no uncertain terms. If you can't, just STFU and go make a fool of yourself some where else, as you're just taking up space here.

What I pointed out regarding the OP stands valid.....or just WTF do you think happened to all those bank tellers that use to occupy those windows before the ATM's and direct deposit?

STFU, you pussy ass commie bitch! I'd bitchsmack you into a crying mess in a nanosecond.

You've never lived in the real world, I can tell. Academia?
