The unemployment rate is down 2.2 points in the last year and 0.3 points so far in 2022. It is "flat" only in the last three months, when it's just a tenth of a point higher than the modern record low. Consider that traditionally right-wingers argued 5% unemployment was "full employment" (back when that claim was convenient for excusing the fact the Reagan/Bush economy never once managed to go below that), we wouldn't expect to be able to push much below the current level, especially with the Fed trying to chill the economy.
For the 12-month period ending Q1 2022 (the last quarter on record), GDP rose from $22.038226 trillion to $24.384289 trillion, which is about 10.65%. Over the same period, the consumer price index rose from 265.028 to 287.708. That's about 8.56%. As you can see, GDP has been more than keep up with inflation. Again, it's only in the last three months (with the Fed hitting the brakes) where inflation outpaced GDP.
The economy doesn't get measured on a monthly basis. It's measured quarterly. Currently, the Blue Chip consensus is that the economy is growing a little less than 3% above inflation, and the Atlanta Fed puts it about 1.3% above inflation:

mental case
noun
: a crazy person
That guy is a complete mental case.
Yes, only two nations are currently involved in full-scale war, while others are fighting by way of proxies.

.... that cannot be supported by any historical facts
I cited the facts and reality specifically. For some reason that really hurt your feelings, and now you're having one of your hissy fits. Take a deep breath and deal. The facts don't care about your feelings.
I don't. I take it you don't either. OK. Surrender accepted.
There are a few accounts here that have kind of shown their hands by way of the standard-issue Putin propaganda.

Yep. And that's just what we have. This isn't a matter of, say, cyber-warfare, or Russia's cold-war antics in assassinating people who criticize Putin, or even aid die some local militias to try to disrupt a country's control of part of its territory. It was a large-scale invasion of another country by Russia's military, with the initial objective of capturing its capital. That's full-scale war.
Take a specific example: Who was the last Democratic president for whom the average unemployment rate WASN'T lower than the rate he inherited from his predecessor? And how about Republicans? Who was the last Republican president for whom the average unemployment rate wasn't HIGHER than the rate he inherited from his predecessor?
I suppose that if you define "full-scale" to include only total war, where a nation is doing absolutely everything within its power to destroy another nation, it's not "full-scale" -- and not war has been since 1945, at least when it comes to nuclear powers, since none have used those weapons (and even non-nuclear powers have generally not used chemical and biological weapons, though they could). So if that's the semantic game you'd like to play, there's no point arguing it. But we're talking about huge columns of Russian armor and hundreds of thousands of Russian troops and mass shelling of civilian targets, all in an open attempt to steal land for Russia, which is the kind of thing people are normally talking about with full-scale war. It's not some limited-engagement air war, proxy war through local partisans, surgical strikes, etc.The Ukraine situation is far from "full-scale."
Lie. He already identified several of them.As you know, you were unable to identify any lie.
You don't get to speak for everybody. You only get to speak for you. Omniscience fallacy. Assumption of victory fallacy. What you may not realize, though, is that everyone who saw this thread also noticed your abject failure.
Inversion fallacy. You are describing yourself again. You can't project YOUR problems on anybody else. These are YOUR problems. Deal with it. (What am I saying??? I know you can't deal with it!!)What you need to keep in mind is that you can't substitute raw emotion for logical argument and hope to come away as anything other than a total laughing stock.

I'm highly educated, which is part of why you're finding yourself being schooled so hard by me. But, honestly, I could be a prating numbskull and I'd still be kicking your ass. Can't the right put up any better competition here? This is truly pathetic. We have another uneducated leftist mental case on the forum.
