Congratulations, you took freedom away…

70% is against the decision. Tell me how it is democracy again.

nice try but 70% are also against democrats extreme abortion position. It depends on how you word the question. Most believe in reasonable restrictions. Thankfully the people in their respective states can decide the issue for themselves, which ultimately is going to be the great pressure valve. The hard core baby killers will be able to do so in their states, and the pro lifers can ban it in theirs, and everyone is happy. The losers in their respective states can either move or suck it up.

Politics is 100% perception.

The country just took a hard, hard turn right. Maybe you're right and voters won't notice.

I am a strong supporter of states rights yes, however our constitution does recognize (note: not grant) certain inalienable, natural rights that pre-exist any government. Abortion is not one of those rights, clearly.

No one ever said "abortion" was. But abortion is very tied into other inherent rights we have.

Nice try at a dodge.

Um most are against extreme abortion position. Stop watching Fox News or the like. And killing babies is illegal. Not surprising you didn't know that.

Tell them to move out is always the Republican's go to bullshit. Would you tell the black people to move out if the SCOTUS returns the Jim Crow decision to the states?

Let's take it to the streets and tear it all apart.

This republic has outlived its usefulness. It's nothing but a dumpster fire now.

Time to try something else.

Middle American and the deep south can't be part of the same country as civilized places.
We clearly proven that now.

What more do people need to see?

More screeching for violence from the outdated golf club. Go fuck yourself asshole.

Who’s the arbitrator that determines that list?

The Supreme Court, and today they could have taken Abortion without taking it all away. Limiting personal freedom was the broad result of the way they came to this decision, they are not dumb, they know what they did.

Such hypocrisy… AK-47’s must remain legal, even though not mentioned in the Constitution, but Abortion can be made illegal because it’s not mentioned in the constitution.

I don’t follow your logic. You’re saying they can take away abortion but then saying some rights (abortion) shouldn’t be left up to mob rule. How those two things coexist?

Two separate points one saying the Supreme Court could have issued a ruling saying that abortion did not fall within the Right to Privacy, because it involved a second life. That would have preserved out right to privacy on other issues.

The second desperate point is calling out their hypocrisy in that they claim we have a right to carry handguns on the street, even though they are not mentioned in the Constitution, yet we can’t have a right to abortion because it’s not mentioned in the constitution.

the federal government decided, in 1972, to take away the right to life that every unborn child up until that point........today the courts finally took that power away from the federal government.....hopefully all states will eventually realize that killing our children is an abomination, not a right.......

They could have taken the right to abortion without taking our right to make personal decisions about our lives.

its amazing that a so-called lawyer doesnt understand the law any better than this.

I’ll offer an an analogy (and please don’t think I’m comparing Jarod to Krugman regarding smarts.)

Paul Krugman won a Nobel Prize for his work on international trade. In that regard the man is brilliant. But when you read his NYT column he transforms into a partisan hack and some of the economic stuff he spouts even he knows is wrong/doesn’t believe but yet he says it anyway because he’s not writing as an economist but rather a partisan.

Point being, partisanship can make otherwise smart people stupid (and that includes right and left)

I’m a strong supporter of individual rights and they took a huge hit today.
